  • Publication number: 20250075843
Abstract: The present invention provides support frames for positive pressure blowers having one or more wheels mounted at a lower corner of the frame, wherein the wheels are mounted to roll in a direction that is perpendicular to the flow of air through the blower. This sideways orientation of the wheels allows a frame carrying a blower to be easily moved from side to side, such as when placed into or removed from a side compartment on an emergency vehicle, and allows such a frame carrying a blower to be easily tilted, turned and rolled around at the scene of a fire in much the same manner as a wheelbarrow. Embodiments of the invention may include an upper handle or grip which allows a user to control the frames by tilting and rolling them around on the wheels. Embodiments of the invention may include a support bracket for holding a battery or other power supply.

  • Patent number: 12109155
Abstract: A wheelchair lift can be easily installed on a standard truck or SUV, wherein the wheelchair lift includes an extendable and retractable platform, a motorized lifting mechanism, a remote control, and a safety stop mechanism that prevents the wheelchair from rolling off of the platform during use. The wheelchair lift is mountable underneath the driver's side or passenger's side of the vehicle, and folds into a compact unit that is positioned along the base of the vehicle chassis in a position where a running board or step might normally be located. The wheelchair lift may be easily removed from one vehicle and installed on another vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20240309195
Abstract: An acrylamide gel formulation for use in electrophoresis, and a system and method for electrophoretic gel casting. In some embodiments, the system comprises a UV-Vis curing light source, and an acrylamide formulation that allows a resolving gel and a stacking gel to be photopolymerized in a single step. In some embodiments, the resolving solution formulation comprises acrylamide and bis-acrylamide, Bis-Tris buffering agent, and lithium phenyl-2, 4, 6-trimethylbenzoyl-phosphinate (LAP) as a water-soluble photoinitiator, which allows the solution to be photopolymerized using UV radiation within a certain wavelength. In some embodiments, a dilution buffer formulation comprises acrylamide and bis-acrylamide, Bis-Tris buffering agent, and lithium phenyl-2, 4, 6-trimethyl-benzoyl-phosphinate (LAP). The dilution buffer may be added to the resolving solution in a selected amount in order to modify the concentration of the acrylamide to a desired concentration.
