Abstract: A voice coil motor type focusing actuator, which includes a fixed unit, the fixed unit comprises a bracket which is formed by plastic injection molding to wrap a metal part, and a plurality of magnets mounted in the bracket at a plurality of sides. A movable unit, the movable unit comprises a lens holder movably mounted inside the bracket and a coil mounted on a plurality of sides of the lens holder corresponding to the magnets. And a resilient holding unit connected between the fixed unit and the movable unit to hold down the movable unit on the fixed unit.

Abstract: A step motor mounted inside a camera for moving a driven member is disclosed to include a yoke iron, which has a base, two arms respectively extended from two sides of the base, and four magnetic poles respectively formed on the free ends of the arms and each junction between the base and the arms, two windings respectively surrounding the two arms of the yoke iron, a magnet, which is rotatably floating among the magnetic poles of the yoke iron by a magnetic force has sectors of different magnetic poles abutted against one another, and a crank, which is coupled to and rotatable with the magnet and has an actuating axle connected to the driven member of the camera for moving the driven member upon rotation of the magnet.

Abstract: A motor-based linear actuator includes a coil assembly housed in a housing and holding two coils, a driving assembly surrounded by the coils and rotatable by the magnetic force induced upon connection of electric current to the coils, a linear guider fixedly, which is fastened to the housing and defines therein a sliding hole and a plurality of sliding grooves in the sliding hole, and an actuating assembly inserted through the sliding hole and coupled to the sliding grooves and threaded onto a front screw rod of the driving assembly for reciprocating motion along the sliding grooves during forward/backward rotation of the driving assembly.
