  • Patent number: 10719079
Abstract: A hybrid of initial time consuming phase of a Single Directional Dijkstra's Algorithm is embodied on an unclocked CMOS logic chip using a parallelized approach with Asynchronous Digital Logic (ADL). The chip includes a a plurality of addressable configurable cells arranged as a multidimensional orthogonal array. The cell array only executes mathematical operations based on a communication between immediately adjacent cells.

  • Publication number: 20150254861
Abstract: An apparatus includes a first device including light sources that are configured to project one or more references onto a surface. There is a second device including a camera that is configured to capture an image of the one or more projected references and is further configured to capture an image of at least a portion of the surface and/or an object disposed thereon or therewithin. A processing unit is operatively coupled to at least one of the first and second devices and configured to receive and process all images so as to determine an information about the at least portion of the surface and/or the object or objects disposed at least one of on, within and adjacent the surface.

  • Publication number: 20140115950
Abstract: The invention provides an apparatus and method for exterminating insects using at least a pair of spaced apart electrodes mounted within or on a supporting member, while preventing electric shock hazards to humans, household pets and animals. The electrodes are spaced apart in either horizontal or vertical planes. Optional capacitance sensor may be employed to selectively activate or deactivate the apparatus. The invention further provides means to maintain effectiveness by using redundant electrode pairs coupled to the same or unique voltage if one pair of electrodes is rendered inoperable due to the presence of an electrocuted insect across it or by providing an automatic collection means using a small vehicle or a notification signal to notify a human or robotic vacuum cleaner that collection is needed.

  • Patent number: 7312699
Abstract: A human-machine interface can detect when a user's ear is pulled back to initiate a plurality of procedures. Such procedures include turning on a TV using a laser attached to the user, starting an additional procedure by speaking a command, communicating with other users in environments which have high ambient noise, and interacting with the internet. Head position sensors are used to detect the position of the head of a user and to either initiate a procedure if a characteristic of the head position or positions meets a certain criteria, or to pass the head position information to another device.

  • Patent number: 6943665
Abstract: A human machine interface (10) for use in situations requiring authorized access. The human machine interface (10) includes a validator controller (12) and a data transmitter (14). The validator controller (12) includes a validator status actuator (16) in communication with a validator receiver (18) via a validator logic circuit (20). The validator status actuator (16) is configured to process and perform actions based upon data signals (22) received by the validator receiver (18). The data transmitter (14), which is in contact with a human nail (24), transmits the data signal (22) to the validator controller (12).
