Patent number: 9314858Abstract: A table miter saw includes a motor assembly and tilt plate assembly holding a blade within a table slot. The blade is mounted to the motor below a table supported by a glide assembly situated within a frame. A handle assembly and the tilt plate assembly are attached to the glide assembly and move the blade longitudinally within the slot. Control knobs operate a shaft to move gears within the tilt plates and change the angle of the blade. A brake lock assembly locks the angle of the blade. The height of the blade is set using a blade height lock in connection with the handle assembly. Mirrored miter fences are connected to the table top with gears for uniform angle change.Type: GrantFiled: August 12, 2011Date of Patent: April 19, 2016Inventor: James T. Rowe

Publication number: 20140121515Abstract: Apparatus and methods are provided for managing delivery of fluid into a vessel. A balloon catheter with a 3-way valve is introduced into an occluded vessel. The 3-way valve permits fluid, such as a contrast dye, to be injected into the vessel lumen. The valve is also configured to permit the balloon portion of the catheter to be inflated by means of the same lumen used to inject the contrast dye into the vessel. Bloodstream pressure can also be measured before and after dilation to confirm the procedure was successful. This apparatus and method provides for a quick, safe, and reliable treatment of an occluded vessel, among other things and works with known and later developed systems.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 30, 2013Publication date: May 1, 2014Applicant: Teleflex Medical. Patent number: 8621508Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for creating and distributing programming content carried by a digital streaming media to be a plurality of remote nodes located over a large geographic area to create customized broadcast quality programming at the remote nodes. At the remote nodes, a multi-window screen display simultaneously shows different programming including national programming and local programming content. The remote nodes utilize a remote channel origination device to assemble the customized programming at the remote location that can be controlled from a central location. An encapsulated IP and IP encryption system is used to transport the digital streaming media to the appropriate remote nodes. Also disclosed is a graphical user interface (“GUI”) providing a software control interface for creating and editing shows or programs that can be aired or played on a remote display device having a multi-window display.Type: GrantFiled: September 13, 2004Date of Patent: December 31, 2013Assignee: Xialan Chi Ltd., LLCInventors: Lynn T. Patent number: 8571702Abstract: Technologies are described herein for optimizing pick-to-tote operations. Each pick location for items in an inventory picking area is assigned a sequence number representing a relative position along a pick path through the inventory picking area. A number of tote pick lists are selected from a set of pending pick lists for the pick-to-tote operation, such that the range of sequence numbers across all the pick locations identified in the selected pick list is minimized. In this way, the required distance inventory personnel must travel along the pick path while picking the specified items and placing them into totes is reduced.Type: GrantFiled: June 30, 2010Date of Patent: October 29, 2013Assignee: Amazon Technologies, Inc.Inventors: Paul N. Haake, Sarah T. Rowe, Sean Joseph Henry Oczkowski

Patent number: 8504413Abstract: Technologies are described herein for generating container plans for multi-item orders. The items of the order are divided into zones, where the zones may determine the picking zone and/or packaging requirements for the item. Zone-based container plans are generated for the items in the order associated with each individual zone. The container plan includes an assignment of each item to one or more logical shipping containers. A mixed container plan is also generated for all the items in the order regardless of the associated zone. If the number of logical shipping containers in the mixed container plan is less than the total number of logical shipping containers in the zone-based container plans, then a final container plan for the order is generated from the mixed container plan. Otherwise, the final container plan is generated by combining the zone-based plans for each zone associated with items in the order.Type: GrantFiled: September 14, 2012Date of Patent: August 6, 2013Assignee: Amazon Technologies, Inc.Inventors: Sarah T. Rowe, Ward W. Vuillemot, Dennis Lee, Paul N. Haake

Patent number: 8498947Abstract: Various systems and methods are described for insertion of optional stops in delivery routes. To this end, a plurality of delivery routes is provided in a computing device, where each delivery route has a plurality of stops. A determination is made in the computing devices as to whether an optional stop can be inserted between a pair of the stops in at least one of the delivery routes without violating a predefined set of criteria. The optional stop is ultimately inserted between a respective pair of stops in a selected one of the delivery routes.Type: GrantFiled: December 17, 2009Date of Patent: July 30, 2013Assignee: Amazon Technologies, Inc.Inventors: Paul N.
