Patent number: 9732721Abstract: A crankshaft rotating angle controlling method and a crankshaft rotating angle controlling system are provided. A shut-off signal is obtained, and an engine speed is judged. If the engine speed is lower than a specific value, a generator is set in a driving mode at an ending point of a missing tooth signal in a gear pulse signal, such that the generator in the driving mode drives a crankshaft to exceed a top-dead-center of a cylinder. When the crankshaft arrives at a bottom-dead-center of the cylinder, the generator is set to be in a holding mode of an error phase of a three-phase current. Through the generator in the driving mode, the given error phase of the three-phase current stops the generator immediately and the crankshaft is fixed within an angle range of a default stop position.Type: GrantFiled: August 26, 2015Date of Patent: August 15, 2017Assignee: INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGY RESEARCH INSTITUTEInventors: Pin-Yung Chen, Chin-Hone Lin, Wen-Yen Chen, Shin-Hsiang Chien, Ta-Chuan Liu

Patent number: 8638023Abstract: An ultrasonic oscillating device with a detachable ultrasonic oscillating assembly is mounted inside a case having a detachable lid and applied in a humidifier. The ultrasonic oscillating device has a circuit board, a supporting board, a connecting structure and the ultrasonic oscillating assembly. The detachable ultrasonic oscillating assembly is placed between the supporting board and the lid. The connecting structure is mounted on a bottom of the lid and electrically connected to the ultrasonic oscillating assembly and the circuit board. When the ultrasonic oscillating assembly is broken, users easily replace the broken ultrasonic oscillating assembly by the detachable ultrasonic oscillating assembly and the detachable lid of the case, so other unbroken parts remain useful.Type: GrantFiled: March 29, 2012Date of Patent: January 28, 2014Assignee: Drytech Corporation Ltd.Inventors: Ta-Chuan Liu, Hsueh-Ko Liao

Patent number: 8485146Abstract: An engine device includes an engine, a power generating portion, a motor portion, and a transmission mechanism. The engine includes a piston and a cylinder, and the piston is arranged in the cylinder and moves back and forth between a top dead center and a bottom dead center. The power generating portion and the motor portion are annularly disposed on the periphery of the cylinder. When the piston moves from the top dead center towards the bottom dead center, the transmission mechanism drives a power generating rotor of the power generating portion to move correspondingly in a direction opposite to that of the piston and enables the power generating portion to generate electric power. When the piston is located at the bottom dead center, the motor portion actuates a motor rotor to move, and pushes the piston to move towards the top dead center through the transmission mechanism.Type: GrantFiled: January 19, 2011Date of Patent: July 16, 2013Assignee: Industrial Technology Research InstituteInventors: Hui-Chun Ho, Shao-Yu Li, Min-Chuan Wu, Ta-Chuan Liu

Patent number: 7900028Abstract: In a method used for initializing a first bus device and a second bus device sharing a common transmission engine of a bus, a first link of the first bus device and a second link of the second bus device to the common transmission engine are disabled when the computer system is booted. Next, the first link and the second link are enabled in order. Then, a first state updating signal from the first bus device is issued after the first link to the common transmission engine is established. Finally, a second state updating signal from the second bus device is issued after the first state updating signal is received and the second link to the common transmission engine is established.Type: GrantFiled: October 4, 2006Date of Patent: March 1, 2011Assignee: Via Technologies, Inc.Inventors: Chung-Ching Huang, Ta-Chuan Liu, Tzu-Chiang Chiu, Chin-Fa Hsiao

Patent number: 7721690Abstract: A valve actuation mechanism are disclosed, which is capable of controlling the lift of valves of an engine by more than three on/off combinations. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the valve actuation mechanism is designed to control the opening and closing of engine valves by the use of an uncomplicated structure with minimum solenoid valves and hydraulic lines. By the valve actuation mechanism of the invention, not only the design of hydraulic line as well as that of space mechanism of an engine can be greatly simplified, but also the opening and closing of valves of an engine can be controlled thereby for enabling the engine to provide different valve lifts and thus satisfying different engine requirements, such as output power increasing, combustion efficiency improving, or cylinder deactivation.Type: GrantFiled: April 17, 2007Date of Patent: May 25, 2010Assignee: Industrial Technology Research InstituteInventors: Ta-Chuan Liu, Pan-Hsiang Hsieh

Patent number: 7682552Abstract: The present invention relates to a capacitive measurement method and system for a nanoimprint process, which arranges a plurality of electrode plates on both the backside of the master mold and the surface of the supporting base carrying the wafer substrate to form a plurality of capacitive structures. By monitoring the capacitance variation signal caused by the continuous variations in the thickness and the material properties of the resist during the imprint process, the status of the resist can be monitored and recorded, which is used as the references for determining the timing to demold in the nanoimprint process and for maintaining the flatness of the resist. Accordingly, the nanoimprint process can be automated easier and the quality and the throughput of of the nanometer scaled imprint product can be improved.Type: GrantFiled: May 24, 2004Date of Patent: March 23, 2010Assignee: Industrial Technology Research InstituteInventors: Chin-Chung Nien, Ta-Chuan Liu, Hong Hocheng

Patent number: 7350486Abstract: The present invention discloses a variable valve actuation mechanism, characterized in that movement of a sliding block is controlled for selectively receiving a driving force exerted from an actuating mechanism so as to control lift, such as higher or lower lift, of valves disposed in a combustion engine. With the design disclosed in the present invention, a conventional problem due to misalignment of the channel for locking pin sliding during changing lift of valve is capable of being solved. In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, actuating parts for controlling higher valve lift will not contact with the variable valve actuation mechanism while the valve is under lower lift so that the combustion engine will be operated in an appropriate rotation speed efficiently so as to reduce fuel consumption.Type: GrantFiled: November 27, 2006Date of Patent: April 1, 2008Assignee: Industrial Technology Research InstituteInventors: Min-Chuan Wu, Ta-Chuan Liu
