  • Publication number: 20180008931
Abstract: An electro-catalytic honeycomb for exhaust emissions control and manufacturing method thereof firstly provides a honeycomb structural body comprising a backbone, a solid-oxide layer, a cathode layer and an inner annular layer. The backbone is provided with an anode and gas channels. The anode is provided with an outer surface and an inner surface inside the gas channels. The solid-oxide layer is formed on the inner surface. The cathode layer is formed on the solid-oxide layer. The inner annular layer is allowed for encapsulating an annular end edge of the outer surface. Subsequently, a sealing body is provided over the inner annular layer. Then, the anode is reduced to a reducing environment. Finally, an encapsulation is provided over the honeycomb structural body to seal the outer surface and a sealing membrane of the sealing body is removed for passing a lean-burn exhaust through the gas channels.

  • Patent number: 9700836
Abstract: An electrochemical double-cell plate for exhaust emissions control is used to purify a lean-burn exhaust and comprises a substrate made of a metal or an alloy and having a reducing capability; a solid-oxide layer; a side layer; and a cathode layer. The solid-oxide layer and the side layer join to seal the substrate and respectively have a first dense structure and a second dense structure. The cathode layer completely covers the solid-oxide layer, made of a porous material and having an oxidizing environment. The oxidizing environment and the reducing capability generate an electromotive force between the substrate and the cathode layer. The electromotive force promotes sulfur oxides and nitrogen oxides of the lean-burn exhaust to decompose into sulfur vapor, oxygen and nitrogen. An electrochemical apparatus using the same for exhaust emissions control is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20160001222
Abstract: An electrochemical double-cell plate for exhaust emissions control is used to purify an oxygen-rich combustion waste gas and comprises a substrate made of a metal or an alloy and having a reducing capability; a solid-state oxide layer; a boundary layer; and a cathode layer. The solid-state oxide layer and the boundary layer cooperate to seal the substrate and respectively have a first compact microstructure and a second compact microstructure. The cathode layer completely covers the solid-state oxide layer, made of a porous material and having an oxidizing environment. The oxidizing environment and the reducing capability generate an electromotive force between the substrate and the cathode layer. The electromotive force drives sulfur oxides and nitrogen oxides of the oxygen-rich combustion waste gas to decompose into sulfur vapor, oxygen and nitrogen. An electrochemical apparatus using the same for exhaust emissions control is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 6328812
Abstract: A pipeline-cleaning method and device thereof is built and applied by firstly forming a sealing circuit including a pipeline pending cleaning, a pressure control device, and two units of pipeline-cleaning device A, A′. A storage tank filled with rigid granules in each pipeline-cleaning device A, A′ is provided with a filter net unit at its lower portion and a filter unit at its upper portion. When cleaning, a pressurized liquid is supplied by the pressure control device to drive the granules circulating the circuit and thereby remove dirt and sediment deposited on the pipe wall by collision and rubbing of the granules to the pipeline inner wall.
