  • Patent number: 7375884
Abstract: A rear-projection screen comprises an optical unit, a light-blocking layer, and an optical lens. The optical unit has a first surface and a second surface. The first surface is opposite to the second surface. The first surface has a plurality of cylindrical convexes and the second surface has a plurality of irregular protruding parts. The light-blocking layer adjoins to the second surface and has a plurality of striped light-absorbing units. The optical lens is disposed adjacent to the optical unit.

    Assignee: Prodisc Technology Inc.
    Inventors: Yen-Chun Chou, Ta-Kun Kung
  • Patent number: 7287863
Abstract: A light tunnel with a gradient filter layer includes a light tunnel body and a gradient filter layer. In this case, the gradient filter layer is disposed at a light emerging side. The transmission rate at the central area of the gradient filter layer is smaller than the transmission rate at the edge area of the gradient filter layer.

  • Patent number: 7125124
Abstract: A projection system includes a light source, an image unit, a projection unit, a light-reflection unit and a screen. The light source emits a light beam. The image unit receives the light beam from the light source and forms an image light. The projection unit is disposed on the route of the image light. The projection unit receives the image light from the image unit and projects it out. The light-reflection unit disposed on the route of the image light has a reflecting layer and at least one light-pervious reflecting layer, and receives the image light from the projection unit. The light-pervious reflecting layer reflects the received image light to form a first image light. The reflecting layer reflects the received image light to form a second image light. The screen is disposed on the route of the first image light and the second image light. The first image light is projected on the screen to form a first image. The second image light is projected on the screen to form a second image.
