  • Publication number: 20210115521
Abstract: Provided is a method of inhibiting tumor progression in a subject suffering from gastric cancer, including administering to said subject a pharmaceutical composition including an inhibitor of targeting PHF8-c-Jun-PKC?-Src-PTEN axis, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. A method of determining a tumor progression state in a subject suffering from gastric cancer is also provided, which comprises providing a sample from the subject; detecting PHF8 expression level in the sample from the subject; and determining the tumor progression state of gastric cancer by the PHF8 expression level, wherein the PHF8 expression level is positively detected from moderate to strong expression indicating the subject suffering a late stage of gastric cancer.

  • Publication number: 20190204319
Abstract: A method of screening breast cancer includes collecting serum samples from breast cancer patient; measuring WISP1 level in the serum sample; and comparing the serum WISP1 level of the healthy persons with the WISP1 level in the serum sample of the breast cancer patients. The mean serum WISP1 level is 631.5 pg/ml for healthy persons and the mean serum WISP1 level is 934.5 pg/ml for patients having breast cancer so that WISP1 level of 934.5 pg/ml is configured to be a biomarker in determining whether a subject has high risk of breast cancer occurrence or not.

  • Publication number: 20150259730
Abstract: A microfluidic chip is provided, including: a plurality of first storage tanks and a plurality of second storage tanks that respectively store different solutions for a preprocess and hybridization process of the fluorescence in situ hybridization; a transmission unit adjacent to the first storage tanks; a reaction unit adjacent to the second storage tanks for a biological target to be placed thereon; a plurality of first valves disposed between the first storage tanks and the transmission unit; and a plurality of second valves disposed between the second storage tanks and the reaction unit, wherein the first valves and the second valves are opened in a predetermined sequence so as to transmit the solutions of the first storage tanks and the second storage tanks to the reaction unit, such that the solutions perform the preprocess and hybridization process of the fluorescence in situ hybridization to the biological target in sequence.
