  • Patent number: 9046070
Abstract: A starting control unit integrally includes a current suppression resistor connected in series with an output contact of an electromagnetic shift relay provided on a starter motor, a short-circuiting relay that short-circuits the current suppression resistor with a short-circuiting contact thereof, and a timer circuit that closes the short-circuiting contact at a predetermined time instant when a starting current decreases in response to the operation of a starting command switch. An excitation coil of the short-circuiting relay is supplied with electric power directly from a vehicle battery by way of one of the terminals of the current suppression resistor, a reverse connection protection device, and a driving transistor, excluding the starting command switch.

  • Patent number: 6007812
Abstract: An imperfect fungus such as a microorganism belonging to the genus Curvularia in a culture medium containing nutrients utilizable for normal microorganisms and isolating MK7634 substance of a molecular formula: C.sub.8 H.sub.15 N.sub.3 O.sub.4 from the culture by, for example, solvent extraction, ion exchange resin technique or gel filtration chromatography. The MK7634 substance can be used as an active ingredient of drugs. In particular, the MK7634 substance is a novel anthelmintic substance and expected to be used as an active ingredient of anthelmintics.

  • Patent number: 5747448
Abstract: Novel PF 1022 derivatives--cyclodepsipeptides represented by the below-described formula (I)--and acid addition salts thereof, which have been synthesized according to the present invention, have anthelmintic activities against various parasitic worms which are parasitic on human bodies, domestic animals and pet animals. They are therefore useful as anthelmintics for the prevention or treatment of parasitic infections. ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4, Q, X, Y and Z have been defined herein.

  • Patent number: 4401365
Abstract: Disclosed is an optical switch of the rotary-type in which a pair of opposing optical transmission path mounting members are disposed on the same axis.A plurality of junction faces of optical transmission paths disposed on the respective opposing plane portions of the mounting members along phantom circles which are opposite to each other and concentric with the pair of mounting members respectively with respect to the axis so that the junction faces on the respective plane portions are capable of being correspondingly opposite to each other. When the pair of the mounting members are relatively rotated about the axis, the facing mates of the opposing junction faces of the optical transmission paths are changed over to switch the optical transmission paths. In the case where an optical path relay member is interposed between the pair of the optical transmission path mounting members, the optical transmission paths can be switched by only the rotation of the optical path relay member.
