    Abstract: On a gas engine in which the liquid gas is vaporized and introduced to a mixer 74, a thick plate shaped vaporizer, which is made of a material with high thermal conductivity and formed with a fuel passage 80e therein, is fixed to a cylinder body in such a manner that heat is conducted to the fuel from the cylinder body. The inlet of the fuel passage 80e is connected to a liquefied gas vessel, and the outlet thereof is connected to the mixer 74. Thereby, the liquid fuel is heated in the fuel passage 80e in the vaporizer, or heated by a heat transfer plate provided in an exhaust passage.
