  • Publication number: 20170278397
Abstract: Either first or second position information additionally includes vehicle length. A derivation unit on a vehicle derives a first time taken for the vehicle to reach a point of encounter based on the first position information and a second time taken for another vehicle to reach the point of encounter based on the second position information. The derivation unit also derives a third time taken for the position of third position information, determined by shifting one of the first and second position information in accordance with vehicle length, to reach the point of encounter. A notification unit issues an alert if the relationship between the first and second times satisfies assistance triggering conditions. Even when they are not satisfied, it issues an alert if the relationship between a time derived based on the other one of the first and second position information and the third time satisfies assistance triggering conditions.

  • Publication number: 20170279904
Abstract: A terminal device includes an acquirer, a transmitter, a receiver, and a notifier. The acquirer acquires first location information of a subject vehicle where the terminal device is installed. The transmitter transmits a communication packet containing the first location information, and identification information identifying the terminal device. The receiver receives a communication packet transmitted from another terminal device installed in another vehicle, the received communication packet containing the second location information of the other vehicle, and acquires the second location information. The notifier performs notification of a warning, based on the second location information and the first location information. In a case where stop conditions have been satisfied, the transmitter stops transmission of the communication packet containing the first location information and the identification information.

  • Patent number: 7443942
Abstract: A receiver for CDMA enables a reduction in a circuit scale including a matched filter and lessening of loads stemming from despread processing. A speed conversion section 10 down-samples a received signal which has been over-sampled at a ratio of four times a chip rate, whereby a matched filter 20 is operated at a two-times oversampling ratio, thereby detecting a path timing. The detected path timing is sent to timing adjustment sections 60 of fingers 30. On the basis of a difference value computed by the DLLs 40, the path timing is corrected, thereby producing a demodulation timing. At the time of correction operation, the path timing is shifted so as to advance or lag by an amount corresponding to one clock cycle of a four-times oversampling frequency.

  • Patent number: 5231679
Abstract: An image processing apparatus is disclosed in which image information read by image information read-out means is reduced by reducing encoding means and simultaneously compressed by compressing means to be displayed as an image, or encoded image information is decoded by decoding means to be stored in a memory and simultaneously is reduced by reducing means to be displayed as an image, thus the apparatus can implement rapid processings, and reducing circuit for image information which reduces image information in the main scanning direction and makes storage means store reduced image information sequentially and simultaneously further reduces this reduced image information in the subscanning direction.
