Abstract: An information processing system according to an aspect of the present disclosure includes: at least one memory configured to store instructions; and at least one processor configured to execute the instructions to: register a product whose identification information is input by a customer's operation on a portable terminal; accept necessity of a disposable shopping bag from the portable terminal; determine a benefit in response to registration of one or more products in a case where a fact that a disposable shopping bag is unnecessary is accepted; and grant the determined benefit in a case where payment for the registered product is made.

Abstract: A store exit management system according to an aspect of the present disclosure includes: at least one memory configured to store instructions; and at least one processor configured to execute the instructions to: acquire a payment completion code from a portable terminal operated by a customer when a product was registered and paid for through the portable terminal; acquire a quantity of a payment completion product associated with the payment completion code; estimate, from an image obtained by imaging goods of the customer leaving a store, a quantity of a product to be taken out by the customer; detect an abnormality based on the acquired quantity of the payment completion product and the estimated quantity of the product to be taken out; and output information indicating that the abnormality is detected.

Abstract: A store exiting management system comprising a store exiting information acquisition unit, a specification unit, and a granting unit. The store exiting information acquisition unit acquires store exiting information from a terminal device after payment for products registered by customer operations on the terminal device has been completed. The specification unit specifies an incentive corresponding to the acquired store exiting information. The granting unit grants the customer the specified incentive.

Abstract: This control system including: a registration unit configured to register, when identification information is read on a reading screen capable of reading the identification information about a product by an operation by a customer on the terminal device, the product indicated by identification information in a list; a mode reception unit configured to receive one of a sequential checking mode in which a list screen of the list is displayed when the identification information is read and a continuous mode in which the reading screen is displayed when the identification information is read; and a display control unit configured to display a screen related to the received mode on the terminal device.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a high strength austenitic stainless steel with excellent corrosion resistance even in oxidative enviroments, and a method for producing such stainless steel, in which the kinds and proportions of the component elements are strictly restricted, especially limiting the contents of C and N to achieve solution strengthening while preventing degradations in corrosion resistance and defects of steel ingots which would be caused if they are added excessively. Besides, V is added under coexistence with Cr and Ni to increase the strength by precipitation of carbides and nitrides of V while preventing production of Cr carbides.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for the controlled cooling of a hot rolled steel rod. A hot rolled steel rod issued from a final stand of mill train is rapidly cooled, and then formed into a coil. The coiled rod is transported in a generally horizontal direction with its loops held at an angle of 30.degree. to 60.degree. relative to the direction of transportation and with a pitch of at least 2d/sin .alpha. where d is a diameter of the rod and .alpha. is the above-mentioned angle. A cooling medium, e.g. air, is forcibly applied to the coiled rod upwardly from below the coiled rod to cool the coiled rod uniformly at such a cooling rate as to achieve a phase transformation to obtain a structure consisting essentially of fine pearlite. The apparatus includes a cooling device for the rapid cooling, a laying head for the coil forming, a conveyor for transporting the coiled rod while supporting its loops at the angle and pitch, a coolant supply, and a mechanism for collecting the treated rod.
