  • Patent number: 6527665
Abstract: A differential gear for outputting a sufficient torque when the speed of an output shaft is decreased in comparison with that of an input shaft. The differential gear is composed of a rotary input shaft 2 having a main drive rotating member 5, a plurality of intermediate rotating members 6, 8, 10, 12 constructed to provide an inertial force for transmitting sequentially rotary power of the main drive rotating member 5 while revolving around or staying on the axis of the input shaft, and a rotary output shaft 3 having a driven rotating member 13 to which rotary power of the final intermediate rotating member 12 is transmitted. The number of revolutions of the intermediate rotating members around the axis is adapted to increase with a decrease in speed of rotation of the output shaft 3 in comparison with the speed of rotation of the input shaft 2.

  • Patent number: 5908109
Abstract: The present invention intends to provide a receiver for a disk in which a disk can be easily attached or detached and a light weight and low costs can be realized because the structure is simple and which is convenient to be held and carried because of being not bulky. According to the invention, the receiver for the storage medium disk is formed in such a manner that as an adhesive layer having adhesive properties, for example, a silicone resin layer whose surface is smooth is laminated onto one or both surfaces of a base plate, thereby forming a disk receiving portion and the storage medium disk is closely adhered to the disk receiving portion so as to be held. It is desired that the silicone resin layer is made of a silicone resin having a hardness of 20 to 70 degrees via a primer. A lid portion whose size is almost equal to that of the base plate can be also connected to the disk receiving portion.

  • Patent number: 4997031
Abstract: The heat exchanger has a zig-zagged liquid-flowing passage and an overflowed-liquid escaping conduit. When an excessive amount of cooling water is supplied to the heat exchanger, a part of cooling water flows into the overflowed-liquid escaping conduit through a dam formed between the liquid-flowing passage and the escaping conduit. The heat exchanger is formed by assembling a plurality of heat exchanging partition plates formed by molding. The heat exchanging partition plates have the same shape and the same dimensions, and they are easily engageable with and detachable from each other.

  • Patent number: 4964977
Abstract: A cross-flow type cooling tower comprises a cooling tower main body, a water tank placed at the upper part of the main body, a plurality of closed type heat exchanging units arranged in the main body in substantially horizontal manner and in parallel to each other in multi-stage below the water tank, a supplying header placed near an air discharge opening of the main body, which is detachably connectable to supplying ports of the heat exchanging units, a discharge header placed near an air intake opening of the main body, which is detachably connectable to discharge ports of the heat exchanging units, wherein the water tank is divided into a first water receiving part near the air intake opening and a second water receiving part near the air discharge opening by way of a partition wall, and a switching valve is provided at at least a water feeding pipe to the second water receiving part.

  • Patent number: 4893669
Abstract: The invention provides flat, thin and hollow heat exchanger units of synthetic resin make, each operating to have a cooling water fed thereto and air flowed horizontally in an air passage therebetween, thus realizing an indirect contact heat exchange between the air and the cooling water through both wall plates. The invention further relates to a crossflow cooling tower incorporating a wet heat exchanger or packing material and an indirect contact type heat exchanger operating on the afore-mentioned heat exchanger units.
