Patent number: 12038451Abstract: A plate transport device includes a main body, first and second moving members and first and second elastic members. The main body has an intermediate supporter. The first and second moving members have first and second supporters, respectively. The first and second moving members are supported to be movable in a first direction with respect to the main body. The first elastic member is provided between the intermediate supporter and the first supporter, and supplies a first biasing force directed toward the intermediate supporter in the first direction to the first moving member. The second elastic member is provided between the intermediate supporter and the second supporter, and supplies a second biasing force, which is directed toward the intermediate supporter in the first direction and opposite to the direction in which the first biasing force is directed, to the second moving member.Type: GrantFiled: August 23, 2018Date of Patent: July 16, 2024Assignee: SHIMADZU CORPORATIONInventors: Koki Miyazaki, Tadanobu Shibabuki

Patent number: 7293767Abstract: In a sheet sucking/feeding device, actuators are independently and individually connected respectively to plural suction cups. At a point in time when a printing plate is sucked and raised up by a predetermined amount, every other one of the actuators is simultaneously operated such that the suction cups connected to the operated actuators are displaced upwardly. The sucked uppermost printing plate is curved so as to become wavy. Air enters in between the uppermost printing plate and a next printing plate therebeneath such that that printing plate therebeneath is disjoined (separated). Only the uppermost printing plate is stably removed and fed out.Type: GrantFiled: December 5, 2003Date of Patent: November 13, 2007Assignee: Fuji Photo Film Co., Ltd.Inventors: Tadanobu Shibabuki, Kazuoki Komiyama, Yoshinori Kawamura

Patent number: 7168698Abstract: In a sheet sucking/removing device, suction cups are controlled to a state of a first negative pressure which is a minimum pressure needed to suck and remove only one uppermost printing plate, and sucking/removing is carried out. Thereafter, the suction cups are controlled to a state of a second negative pressure which is needed for conveying and supplying the printing plate, and conveying/supplying of the printing plate is carried out.Type: GrantFiled: March 24, 2004Date of Patent: January 30, 2007Assignee: Fuji Photo Film Co., Ltd.Inventors: Yoshinori Kawamura, Tadanobu Shibabuki

Patent number: 7053398Abstract: A double-sided stimulable phosphor sheet, which emits light from both sides thereof when exciting light is applied to a recording surface thereof, is fed in an auxiliary scanning direction indicated by the arrow A by first and second roller pairs. First and second guide members are disposed on the side of the reverse surface of the stimulable phosphor sheet, for guiding the stimulable phosphor sheet, and a glass guide is disposed on the side of the reverse surface of the stimulable phosphor sheet in a position where a laser beam is applied to the stimulable phosphor sheet. The first and second guide members and the glass guide are integrally mounted on a guide mount. Radiation image information recorded on the stimulable phosphor sheet can efficiently be read highly accurately without damage being caused to the stimulable phosphor sheet.Type: GrantFiled: June 11, 2003Date of Patent: May 30, 2006Assignee: Fuji Photo Film Co., Ltd.Inventors: Tadanobu Shibabuki, Naoto Iwakiri

Patent number: 7028617Abstract: A printing plate sucker capable of stably suction-adhering and sheet-feeding both a printing plate and a protective sheet simultaneously without causing wrinkling at the protective sheet during the suction-adherence and sheet-feeding. The sucker is structured by a main body portion formed of a stiff body, a skirt portion formed of a resilient body, and a spring. When a moment from a printing plate acts on the sucker during sheet-feeding, the spring resiliently deforms. Thus, the main body portion is displaced (inclined) in the moment application direction, effective weight on the sucker is reduced, and a state in which a reduced moment acts on the sucker is achieved (the moment is substantially absorbed). Furthermore, the spring which redirects the moment is structured separately from the main body portion and skirt portion. Therefore, the sucker will not be deformed, an interleaf sheet will not be hoistingly deformed, and wrinkling will not occur.Type: GrantFiled: December 9, 2003Date of Patent: April 18, 2006Assignee: Fuji Photo Film Co., Ltd.Inventors: Tadanobu Shibabuki, Kazuoki Komiyama, Yoshinori Kawamura

Patent number: 6682069Abstract: A conveyor system conveys sheets of different widths in a direction normal to the direction of width with an edge of each sheet held along a reference position. The conveyor system includes a drive roller and a nip roller and conveys the sheet with the nip roller urged toward the drive roller under its gravity and a predetermined urging force. The nip roller is heavier at a part on the side of the reference position than at a part on the side opposite to the reference position and is substantially uniform in weight over a predetermined length between the end on the side of the reference position and a part at a predetermined distance from the end on the side of the reference position, and the predetermined urging force is set stronger on the side opposite to the reference position than on the side of the reference position.Type: GrantFiled: November 16, 2001Date of Patent: January 27, 2004Assignee: Fuji Photo Film Co., Ltd.Inventor: Tadanobu Shibabuki

Patent number: 6549273Abstract: A belt is rotated in the direction indicated by the arrow (F) by a motor to cause first and second feed roller pairs to feed a stimulable phosphor sheet in the direction indicated by the arrow (X2). Before the stimulable phosphor sheet is scanned by a light beam, the belt is rotated a predetermined length in the direction indicated by the arrow (E) by the motor. Thereafter, the belt is rotated to cause the first and second feed roller pairs to feed the stimulable phosphor sheet in the auxiliary scanning direction indicated by the arrow (X1). When the stimulable phosphor sheet is scanned by a light beam, the belt is stably held in a desired position on the driven pulley, but is not slid sideways, allowing the stimulable phosphor sheet to be fed highly accurately in the auxiliary scanning direction.Type: GrantFiled: October 1, 2001Date of Patent: April 15, 2003Assignee: Fuji Photo Film Co., Ltd.Inventor: Tadanobu Shibabuki
