Abstract: A lens barrel comprises a first frame including an inward flange having an opening as a light path for a photographic optical system, a barrier-driving member disposed in the vicinity of the opening, a second frame disposed inside the first frame and movable along an optical axis relative to the first frame, a barrier blade movable along with the rotation of the barrier-driving member between a closed position in which the barrier blade blocks at least a part of the light path and an open position in which the barrier blade is retracted from the light path, an opening-urging member capable of urging the barrier blade towards the open position and urging the barrier-driving member towards a first direction, and a closing-urging member capable of urging the barrier blade toward the closed position.

Abstract: A method of preparing a leaf spring having a heating step in which a raw material of a leaf spring is heated to austenite range temperature, a rolling step in which the above heated material is formed to a desirable shape, a working step in which the above rolling material is cut to a fixed length to form a chip hole, a bolt hole or the like, and a cooling step in which a camber is given to the above working material to cool to hardening in his state.Other five modified methods are also described.

Abstract: A stabilizer used for vehicles and the like is formed integral with a base, shoulders on both sides of the base, and arms each formed with an eye-termination provided at the free end thereof for connecting the stabilizer to a load, said arms being each partly provided in separation from the remaining part of the stabilizer and welded to the latter at a predetermined position thereof the weld position satisfying a condition for maintaining sufficient strength of the stabilizer, to thereby produce the stabilizer more easily with a reduction in cost as well as to heighten the spring property thereof.
