  • Patent number: 5549389
Abstract: An outlet stopper includes a cap part made of a resin and having a cylinder which has a screw thread on a side face thereof, and an outlet part made of a resin and having a disk flange which has a bottom face thereof coated with an adhesive. The disk flange has a hole at a center portion thereof. The outlet part has another cylinder which is placed on top of the disk flange and has a screw thread on a side face thereof which fits the screw thread on the cylinder in the cap part. An opening blade is fixed to the inside of the cap part, and a stopping ring which has a protrusion projected outward therefrom has a break therein for opening the ring and for stopping the insertion of the cap part and the outlet part into each other before reaching a fully screwed-in position. The outlet stopper can be easily attached with the adhesive to a package commercially available in a pouch form.

  • Patent number: 5501757
Abstract: A process for production of a bag having linear ribs uses an apparatus for forming linear ribs which comprises a plate mold having linear protrusions on both faces thereof and upper and lower female molds placed at both sides of the mold, having penetrated linear cavities at positions corresponding to those of the linear protrusions and capable of opening and closing as desired. Multi-layer resin films are inserted between the plate mold and the female molds. The molds are heated and pressed to each other to prepare multi-layer resin films having linear ribs. A bag is produced using the multi-layer resin film having linear ribs thus prepared. Ribs convex to the outside can be formed on the multi-layer film comprising a layer of a resin having a low melting point at the inside and a layer of a resin having a high melting point at an outer side thereof. The self-supporting bag produced by the process has a higher stiffness.

  • Patent number: 5352043
Abstract: A self-supporting bag comprising a part constituting the trunk and a part constituting the bottom both made of a multilayer plastic film comprising a heat adhesive plastic layer as the inner layer thereof is provided. The inner layer or the outer layer of the multilayer plastic film of the part constituting the trunk has a section comprising convex parts and concave parts adjacent with each other. The linear ribs are formed by pressing a positive mold having linear protrusions at the top face against the multilayer plastic film to form linear troughs on the film with decrease of the thickness of the pressed part of the film and a raised part at the upper edges of the troughs on the film and by fixing the raised parts on the film.
