  • Publication number: 20090322960
Abstract: According to the embodiment of the invention, a television broadcasting receiver includes: an input terminal to which a television broadcasting signal is inputted, the second standard being different from the first standard; a printed circuit board having the input terminal substantially at the center of the printed circuit board and having first and second tuner units, the first tuner unit being disposed on one side of the input terminal, the second tuner unit being disposed on another side of the input terminal; and a casing housing the printed circuit board and the first and second tuner units so that the input terminal is exposed to the outside, wherein each of the first and second tuner units performs frequency conversion on the television broadcasting signal according to the first standard or the second standard inputted to the input terminal to obtain a video signal or an audio signal corresponding one of the first standard and the second standard.

  • Publication number: 20080253485
Abstract: A broadcast receiving apparatus includes: an input unit to which a high frequency signal is input; a conversion unit that converts the high frequency signal into a digital intermediate frequency signal; a differential output unit that differentially outputs the digital intermediate signal converted by the conversion unit; a demodulation unit that demodulates the digital intermediate frequency signal that is differentially output from the differential output unit; and a resonance unit that includes a coil and a capacitor that are serially connected with each other between the differential output unit and the demodulation unit, the resonance unit being configured to pass the digital intermediate frequency signal while attenuating out-of-band component of the digital intermediate frequency signal.

  • Patent number: 6246434
Abstract: By connecting the module 1 to the BUS line 6 of the adjustable tester 5, and then, by inputting commands or data from the inputting/outputting means (adjusting means) 4 to the microcomputer 3, each device which constitutes said single module 1 is adjusted. The data set at this adjusting time for each adjustment of each device is stored in the built-in memory 2 of the module 1. By connecting this adjusted module 1 to the main unit 251 through the BUS line 6, a video apparatus is constructed, and the data for adjustment stored in the built-in memory 2 of the module 1 becomes usable as they are. Moreover, the built-in memory 2 of the module 1 can also add to its storage the data for the adjustment of each circuit (13, 18) in the main unit 251. Thus, a video apparatus, which does not require redundant checking and adjustment of a single module, is provided.

  • Patent number: 6011594
Abstract: This invention provides a television device in which text data can be continuously and stably obtained even when the switching the reception between a plurality of tuners. Outputs of first and second signals are inputted into and demodulated by video processing circuits. One of the outputs of the video processing circuits is selected by a selector and inputted into a text decoder. In a case where the reception channel of the first tuner is switched to a channel received by the second tuner under a condition that the selector selects the output of the video processing circuit, the selector is switched to select the output of the video processing circuit after the reception state of the first tuner becomes stable.

  • Patent number: 4211552
Abstract: A method and system for processing molten slag is characterized in that molten slag is first spread onto a slag receiving means which is substantially made of a steel plate of desired thickness and is tiltably mounted on the floor of a roofed slag processing factory and is subsequently air and water-cooled such that the slag is solidified and finally is water-quenched in a cooling water pit whereby the resulting solidified slag is of practical use which neither collapses nor produces dust.
