  • Patent number: 11919255
Abstract: Provided are a method and an apparatus for manufacturing a fiber-reinforced resin molding material by which, when the fiber-reinforced resin molding material is manufactured, separated fiber bundles can be supplied to a cutting machine in stable condition while avoiding the influence of meandering of the fiber bundles or slanting or meandering of filaments occurring in the fiber bundles. A method for manufacturing a sheet-shaped fiber-reinforced resin molding material in which spaces between filaments of cut-out fiber bundles (CF) are impregnated with resin includes, so that a condition of the following expression (1) is satisfied, intermittently separating fibers of the continuous fiber bundles (CF) in a longitudinal direction by a rotational blade (18) serving as a fiber separating part and cutting out the fiber bundles with an interval therebetween in a longitudinal direction of a cutting machine (13A) to obtain the cut-out fiber bundles (CF).

  • Patent number: 9329603
Abstract: A valve main body including a valve member that opens and closes a valve seat is associated with a fluid pressure driving unit including a pressure-receiving member (piston) that drives the valve member, a valve aperture adjusting unit that sets the aperture of the valve member, an electromagnetic valve unit that supplies and discharges a pilot fluid to and from the fluid pressure driving unit, and a controller that controls the aperture of the valve member. The controller controls the aperture of the valve member by controlling the position of the pressure-receiving member, such that the vacuum chamber attains a predetermined target pressure, and monitors a difference between an actual pressure in the vacuum chamber obtained from the pressure sensor and the target pressure, and announces abnormality in the case where the difference deviates from a tolerance range.

  • Patent number: 6119721
Abstract: An electropneumatic regulator system, which has an electropneumatic regulator for controlling a pressure and a flow rate of a fluid supplied from a fluid source on the basis of a level of an input signal, comprises a communication unit for making communication with a master station, and a control unit for controlling the electropneumatic regulator in response to at least the contents of communication data received by the communication unit. Accordingly, it is possible to collectively control one or more electropneumatic regulators by using, for example, the master station on the basis of the communication so that the response performance can be improved for the remote control of the electropneumatic regulators, and the cost can be reduced.

  • Patent number: 6016824
Abstract: An analog voltage signal V.sub.A generated from a command signal generating device is converted to a PWM signal V.sub.B by a converter, and a drive transistor is ON/OFF controlled by the PWM signal V.sub.B, whereby a current is conducted to a heater. When the heater is heated, a fluid filling a chamber of the valve device is caused to expand, whereby a membrane approaches a nozzle and a flow amount of pressurized air introduced to the valve device is restricted. As a result, energy consumed by the drive transistor is reduced and energy efficiency is improved. Further, because the generated heat from the drive transistor is small, the fluid is not affected thereby and raised in temperature by the transistor heat, whereby the flow amount characteristics of the valve device can be controlled in a stable fashion.

  • Patent number: 5853043
Abstract: A thin slab that is free of internal cracks is formed by reducing a continuously cast strand having a liquid core. The placement of the reduction rolls is controlled to effect a suitable amount of reduction. The methods effectively reduce bulging strain, as well as strain associated with reduction of the strand. As a result, total accumulated strain is reduced and a thin slab free of internal cracks can be manufactured at high speeds. The apparatus includes reduction blocks which are capable of shifting the rotation angle of an upper roller segment frame. Misalignment strain is reduced and the thickness of the strand can be changed without stopping the manufacturing operation.
