  • Publication number: 20030102767
Abstract: In a motor having a motor unit and a speed-reducing unit, a brush holder is sandwiched between a yoke housing of the motor unit and a gear housing of the speed-reducing unit. The brush holder includes holder body, joining portion, and connector portion. The holder body is formed with a first opening being open in the yoke housing. The joining portion is formed with a cylindrical portion extending in a direction same as the opening direction of a connector recessed portion of the connector portion. A second opening is formed on an end surface of the cylindrical portion. The first opening communicates with the second opening through first and second communication holes, so that pressure difference between the inside and outside of the yoke housing and the gear housing are cancelled.

  • Patent number: 6481306
Abstract: In a geared motor, a worm wheel and an output gear are rotatably supported about and slidably engaged with a center shaft. A transmitting plate connected to the output gear transmits rotation from the worm wheel to the output gear. An O-ring is fitted around the center shaft. The O-ring is sealingly surrounded on four sides in a seal retaining portion defined by an outer peripheral surface of the center shaft, an inner peripheral surface of the transmitting plate, an end surface of an annular protrusion of the worm wheel and one end surface of the output gear.

  • Patent number: 6481550
Abstract: A clutch includes a stopper secured to a gear housing of a motor. Once the stopper is secured to the gear housing, the stopper restrains axial movement of rolling elements by restraining axial movement of a support member, which rotatably supports the rolling elements, to retain the rolling elements within a collar. A driven-side rotator of the clutch includes reinforcing ribs for reinforcing engaging projections of the driven-side rotator.

  • Publication number: 20020166909
Abstract: In the cutting solution supplying and controlling apparatus for a dicing machine, a flow rate adjusting device is provided in addition to a regulator as the pressure adjusting device. The flow rate adjusting device has a flow rate controller, which controls a proportional solenoid valve according to a signal applied from a flow rate sensor as a feedback signal. Thus, even if the pressure of the water supplied from the water supply equipment of the factory changes, the flow rates of the cutting solution and the coolant are maintained. Moreover, the flow rates can be easily adjusted according to the type of work to be processed.

  • Publication number: 20020166552
Abstract: In the dicing machine, a flange cover with which the blade is covered is divided into two, and the first cover is openable. An interlock device is provided so that a blade attaching and detaching device cannot be attached when the first cover is at the closing position, the first cover cannot turn to the closing position when the blade attaching and detaching device is attached, and the processing of the work is not started when detected luminous energy of a blade breakage detector, which is attached to the first cover, is not reduced by a predetermined amount. Thus, the blade and the work are prevented from being damaged by processing the work without applying coolant, the mechanism of the dicing machine and the blade attaching and detaching device are prevented from being damaged by operating the dicing machine without detaching the blade attaching and detaching device, and the work is prevented from being unprocessed but sent out by operating the dicing machine without attaching the blade.

  • Publication number: 20020168921
Abstract: The flange cover covering the blade is divided into two. The second cover is turnably connected to the first cover through a shaft parallel with the spindle of the blade, and the second cover is opened and closed in connection with vertical movement of the spindle. When the spindle is moved upward for replacing the blade, the second cover is automatically turned to the opening position, and L-shaped coolant jetting nozzles are moved away from positions below the blade to positions beside the blade. Thus, the blade can be easily replaced, and an automatic blade replacing system can be applied.

  • Publication number: 20020158158
Abstract: The dicing machine has a shielding plate movably arranged between a processing part and a microscope so as to check mist and spray produced from the processing part. The shielding plate can be moved back and forth between a shielding position and a retreated position, so that the shielding plate is positioned at the shielding position during processing of the work and at the retreated position when the operator replaces the old blade with a new one. Thus, even if the dicing machine has two spindles facing to each other, the shielding plate does not interfere with replacement of blades on the spindles.

  • Patent number: 6390264
Abstract: In a clutch, when a driving-side rotator is rotated, the driving-side rotator engages a driven-side rotator in a rotational direction and transmits a rotational force of the driving-side rotator to the driven-side rotator. When the driven-side rotator is rotated by an external force, a rolling element is clamped between the driven-side rotator and an inner circumferential surface of a housing. At the same time the driven-side rotator is allowed to rotate while generating a desired frictional force between the rolling element and the inner circumferential surface of the housing, so that the rotation of the driven-side rotator is not transmitted to the driving-side rotator.

  • Publication number: 20010039863
Abstract: With a blade exchanging device, a cylindrical body is engaged with a nut that is fastened to a spindle, and at the same time the nut is held by fitting nails of a chuck member with grooves that are formed on the nut. Next, a torque wrench is inserted through the cylindrical body, and a polygonal head of the torque wrench is engaged with a polygonal hole formed in the head of the spindle. In this state, the spindle is rotated with the torque wrench in a direction to unfasten the nut from the spindle. The nut is thereby detached from the spindle. When the cylindrical body is disengaged from the spindle, the nut is prevented from falling off the cylindrical body, since the nails of the chuck hold the nut.

  • Patent number: 5882554
Abstract: An apparatus for exposing an optical master disk includes an exposure section, an exposure control section, a guide groove exposure voltage supplier and a modulator. The exposure section is for exposing a guide groove and pre-pits by different laser beams, and the exposure control section is for controlling an exposure voltage of the laser beams in the exposure section and an exposure timing. The guide groove exposure voltage supplier is for supplying, in accordance with the pre-pit designation signal, to the exposure section a guide groove exposure voltage of a first power level when an inside or an outside guide groove adjacent to the pre-pits is exposed and a guide groove exposure voltage of a second power level when a guide groove not adjacent to the pre-pits is exposed. The modulator modulates a laser beam for exposing the guide groove in accordance with the guide groove exposure voltage.
