  • Publication number: 20060263588
Abstract: The disclosed is a transparent conductive film that includes a matrix and carbon fibrous structures added to the matrix, wherein the carbon fibrous structures comprise carbon fibers, each having an outside diameter of 15-100 nm, and wherein the carbon fibrous structures each comprise a granular part at which two or more carbon fibers are bound to each other, and wherein the granular part is concurrently produced in a growth process for the carbon fibers. When the transparent conductive film is formed at a thickness of 0.1-5 ?m on a glass substrate, it shows a surface resistivity of not more than 1.0×1012?/?, and a total light transmittance of not less than 30%. A coating composition for the conductive transparent film is prepared by using a media mill equipped with beads having an average diameter of 0.05-1.5 mm to disperse the carbon fibrous structures into the liquid resinous composition.

  • Patent number: 5686509
Abstract: An adhesion-reinforcing composition for an epoxy resin adhesive which comprises a copolymer resin particle having been ion-crosslinked with a univalent or divalent metal cation, which particle is comprised of (i) a core ingredient composed of a polymer comprising diene monomer units and optional crosslinking monomer units and having a glass transition temperature not higher than -30.degree. C. and (ii) a shell ingredient composed of a copolymer having a glass transition temperature of at least 70.degree. C. and comprising acrylate or methacrylate monomer units and 0.01-20 wt. parts, per 100 wt. parts of the shell ingredient, of units of a radically polymerizable unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer having a carboxyl group and 3-8 carbon atoms; the core/shell weight ratio being 5/1-1/4. A composition comprising 100 wt. parts of an epoxy resin, 15-60 wt.

  • Patent number: 5634093
Abstract: In a CAD system for designing wiring patterns, a wiring start point and a wiring end point are selected from a component placement drawing of a printed wiring board displayed on a display screen using a pointing device. The pointing device is used to designate a point through which the wiring will pass. When this designated point is neither in the horizontal nor vertical direction from the wiring start point, a pattern having two segments is drawn from the wiring start point to the designated point. One of the two segments is a vertical or horizontal segment. The other segment is an oblique segment at a predetermined angle to the horizontal. It can then be determined which of the two segments is to be drawn from the wiring start point. A pattern is similarly drawn from a last designated point to a new designated point.

  • Patent number: 5290857
Abstract: An epoxy resin adhesive composition has excellent adhesive properties such as impact resistance, tensile shear strength and T-peel strength as well as excellent semi-gelling property. An epoxy resin adhesive composition comprising ionic crosslinking in a polymer utilized as the impact resistance modifier has not only excellent semi-gelling property and mechanical properties of cured products but also excellent storage stability for a long time and it is advantageously utilized when the application occasionally requires storage or standing of the material for one month to one year at the room temperature. The epoxy resin adhesive composition comprises an epoxy resin, a powder core/shell polymer and a heat activation type hardener for epoxy resins. The powder core/shell polymer is composed of a core comprising an acrylate polymer or a methacrylate polymer having a glass transition temperature of -30.degree. C.

  • Patent number: 5075411
Abstract: A curable epoxy resin composition comprises (I) an epoxy resin and (II) a curing agent. It may comprise (III) another curing agent. It is preferable for it to comprise 25 to 95 wt.% of (I) and 5 to 45 wt.% of (II).1 an epoxy resin (I) represented by the general formula: ##STR1## wherein Z represents a group selected from among a hydrogen atom, a methyl group and an ethyl group, R represents a group selected from among a hydrogen atom and alkyl groups, and n represents a number of 0 to 1.6, and2 a curing agent comprising a polyamine reaction composition (II) obtained by reacting 1 mol of a phenol (II-1) having at least one unsubstituted reactive site in the aromatic nucleus with at least 1 mol of an aliphatic polyamine (II-2) and at least 1 mol of a carbonyl compound (II-3) having at least one carbonyl group in the molecule.

  • Patent number: 4719689
Abstract: In making a peripheral joint between first and second metal panels such as, e.g., outer and inner panels of an automobile door by hemming the first panel after application of a rust preventive sealant, the sealant is used in a quantity in excess of just sufficiency for completely filling in gaps in the joint to ensure that the excess portion of the sealant is pressed out of the joint by the end of the hemming operation, and the press die member used in the hemming working is formed with a groove in its hemming surface such that the sealant pressed out of the joint is confined within a space defined by the groove and shaped in conformance with the shape of the groove so as to serve as an external seal which closely covers the edge of the hemmed marginal part of the first panel.
