  • Publication number: 20080068133
Abstract: A management PC comprises a polling combination table 11a for storing data (combination data) where a combination of reader/writers, which are not problematic when being polled simultaneously, and a polled flag. The management PC examines combination data of each row by sequentially referencing the polling combination table starting at the first row in the polling process of a reader/writer. Then, one or a plurality of reader/writers set in the combination data are concurrently polled. Then, the polled flags of the polled reader/writers are set to “1”. After referencing the last row of the polling combination table, the management PC clears the polled flags of all of rows of the polling combination table to “0”, and repeats the above described series of operations.

  • Patent number: 7212121
Abstract: A wireless tag system which does not require any anti-collision process or, if an anti-collision process is required, can reduce the number of tags that need to participate in the anti-collision process to make the anti-collision process proceeds fast. The wireless tag system comprises a plurality of wireless slave tags which have respective unique IDs, a plurality of wireless master tags arranged for the slave tags and storing the unique IDs of the slave tags and a wireless tag access control device which accesses the master tags to acquire the unique IDs of the slave tags from the master tags and subsequently accessing the slave tags by using the acquired unique IDs of the slave tags.

  • Patent number: 7145458
Abstract: A non-contact IC tag system includes a plurality of non-contact IC tags, each of which includes identification information and a memory for storing a predetermined amount of data; and a reader/writer that sends an operation command via radio to each of the non-contact IC tags. The non-contact IC tags include a plurality of slave IC tags and a master IC tag. The master IC tag holds memory configuration information that is used when building a memory space with a memory area of the memory of each of the slave IC tags and a memory area of the memory of the master IC tag.

  • Publication number: 20060047961
Abstract: A wireless tag system and a wireless tag access control device make it easy to keep and manage keys of cryptograph with an enhanced level of security. The wireless tag system comprises a plurality of wireless slave tags 1 through 3 which store information encrypted by means of a first key of cryptograph, a wireless master tag 7A which store the first keys of cryptograph of the slave tags belonging thereto encrypted by means of the second key of cryptograph and a wireless tag access control device which accesses the master tag 7A and decrypting the first keys of cryptograph acquired from the master tag 7A by means of the second key of cryptograph and then the tag data acquired from the slave tags 1 through 3 by means of the decrypted first keys of cryptograph.

  • Publication number: 20030149664
Abstract: In a settlement system comprising an IC card terminal (a transaction medium terminal), a settlement terminal and a settlement server, IC card based settlement processing that the IC card terminal has so far executed, is distributed to the settlement terminal and the settlement server as well. The distribution would reduce load of processing by the IC card terminal, and because of the reduced load, the IC card terminal would not anymore require a CPU with a high processing capability or a large capacity of memory, contributing to low-costing of the IC card terminal, and eventually, allowing the total settlement system to embody low-costing.

  • Patent number: 6474545
Abstract: As an alarm reception flag offers an “ON” state indicating that a sign of an occurrence of abnormality on a digital cash module associated with the alarm reception flag is detected, a control unit of a digital cash safe performs on a priority basis a processing for transfer of digital cash data to an IC card, which is the primary service of the digital cash safe, and simultaneously performs a save processing for digital cash data stored in the digital cash module on which a sign of abnormality is detected.
