    Abstract: An electronic component includes an electrochemical element, an electrolyte and an outer housing. The electrochemical element includes leading terminals, an anode, a cathode, a separator, and an insulating member. Respective first ends of the leading terminals are connected to the anode and the cathode. The separator is provided between the anode and the cathode. The insulating member is provided in at least one of the separator, the anode and the cathode. The electrochemical element, impregnated with the electrolyte, has a first end face formed by laminating the anode, the separator and the cathode in sequence, and second ends of the leading terminals are led out of the first end face. The outer housing accommodates the electrochemical element and the electrolyte. The insulating member covers the separator in positions corresponding to the first ends of the leading terminals. An end of the insulating member protrudes from the first end face.

The truncated cone shaped prism has optical properties of converting only light returned to a truncated conical circumference surface at a fixed angle corresponding to an apex angle into light parallel to an optical axis of incident light. The parallel light is offset from an optical axis of incident light in accordance with a displacement of the object relative to the truncated cone shaped prism. The optical position detector detects an offset amount to measure the displacement of the object.

    Abstract: A tray on which a cassette is mounted can be reciprocated between a first projected position and a second set position in the horizontal direction by a carriage system. When the tray is positioned above a cassette drive section, it can be reciprocated up and down by a lifter system while holding the cassette therein. A cassette adapter can house therein a second cassette, smaller in size than the first-mentioned cassette, having a magnetic tape wound arround it, and the cassette adapter is attached to and detached from the ray. The cassette adapter is provided with an unloaded cassette detecting lever to detect whether or not the second cassette, having the magnetic tape, is inserted in the cassette adapter. A lever detecting device, which also serves as a component of the carriage system, detects that the unloaded cassette detecting lever is projected to prevent the tray from being moved from the first to the second position when the tray is on the way of being inserted into a cabinet.

    Abstract: This invention relates to the performance of a soft-touch magnetic tape recorder/player. More particularly, when a magnetic tape recorder/player operating section is operated, the rotary force of the first rotor rotating irrespective of the tape feeding is transmitted to second rotor, and a tape recorder/player mechanism is operated in a predetermined operating state by the rotary force of the second rotor. In this case, a non-engaging part not engaged with the first rotor is formed in the second rotor, and the non-engaging part normally faces the first rotor. A guide part for rotating the second rotor in a direction to engage the second rotor with the first rotor is formed at the second rotor upon reception of the drive force of a lock member cooperatively operating with the operation of the tape recorder/player operating section.
