  • Patent number: 6169470
Abstract: A coiled component (K1) having an insulating member (3) and a conductive member (5). The conductive member is provided in the insulating member (3) and has a plurality of turns which are gradually different, in diameter, from each other from one end towards the other end of the conductive member (5) such that at least the turns of the conductive member (5) are disposed in different planes, respectively. Also, a magnetic layer (8, 9) is provided on at least one of upper and lower faces of the insulating member (3).

  • Patent number: 5364253
Abstract: A magnetic circuit component molding device for integrally molding a compound a center yoke with a ring-shaped magnet includes top and bottom press vertically arranged at opposed positions. A ring-shaped magnet is place on a bottom die between top and bottom press. The top and bottom press compress the compound against the ring-shaped magnet ring with a vertical pressure. A holder unit, separated in plural segments, having tapered outer circumferences is provided around the ring-shaped. A holder presser having a tapered inner circumference is mounted on the holder unit as tapered portions thereof are engaged together. A portion of the vertical pressure, when the top press compresses the compound, is transferred by springs 10 to the holder presser, and is amplified by the tapered portions and applied to the outer circumference surface of the ring-shaped magnet by the holder unit.

  • Patent number: 5131273
Abstract: An angular velocity sensor includes a pair of vibratory piezoelectric detecting elements defining detecting planes which are disposed in symmetry about a plane containing the sense axis and out of right-angled orientation with respect to this plane. The detecting elements thus arranged assume a widely spread or flattened V-shaped configuration as viewed from above. Output signals of opposite polarities received from the respective detecting elements are weighted respectively and added together so as to cancel out unwanted leak component signals. Thus, leak component signals resulting from assembling tolerances can be canceled. In this instance, if the characteristics of two sensor elements each including one of the detecting elements are fully equivalent, a leak component signal dependent on a disturbing inertial force can simultaneously be canceled out.

  • Patent number: 5120366
Abstract: A composite ferrite material is provided. The composite ferrite material obtained from a mixture of a magnetic ferrite powder with high crystallinity, prepared by firing at a prescribed temperature, and a glass powder, having a softening temperature lower than said firing temperature, by heat treatment of said mixture at a temperature which is higher than, or equal to said softening temperature of said glass powder and lower than, or equal to said firing temperature, to effect the binding of said magnetic ferrite powder by said glass material. The composite ferrite material has excellent magnetic characteristics and can be obtained in a form of the desired dimensions with high accuracy.

  • Patent number: 3956151
Abstract: A method for producing, under a low pressure such as an ambient atmospheric pressure, a ferromagnetic chromium oxide having a sufficiently high saturation magnetization and, if necessary, sufficiently high coercive force as well. The main feature of this method is to use H.sub.2 O.sub.2 in conjunction with CrO.sub.3 and, if necessary, Te, Sb or an alkali element as well and to heat them.

  • Patent number: 3954641
Abstract: The present invention provides a ferromagnetic chromium oxide powder having an additive of sulfur incorporated therewith, which powder has a lower curie temperature than that of pure chromium dioxide powder and a high saturation magnetization. Said powder has a composition in weight percent, consisting essentially of 61.90 to 57.22 percent of chromium and 0.0038 to 15.10 percent of sulfur. Moreover, the ferromagnetic chromium oxide powder having a combination of sulfur and further additives selected from tellurium, tin and antimony has a lower Curie temperature than that of pure chromium dioxide together with a high intrinsic coercive force and a high saturation magnetization. The particles of these powders are in a uniform acicular shape and are useful in magnetic recording media, especially for slave tapes in thermo-magnetic duplication.
