Abstract: In a roller guide apparatus for guiding a steel material to be rolled into a rolling mill machine, a ratio (K/M) of an elastic constant (K [N/mm]) of the roller guide portion of a roller guide apparatus to a gradient (M [N/mm]) in a plasticity characteristic curve obtained when pressing the steel material nipped between the guide rollers in rolling is determined to be 0.5 or more, to thereby prevent the steel material from tilting between the guide rollers. As a result, dimensional accuracy in sectional shape and size of an end product can be improved, and miss-rolling can be prevented, thus producing high-quality rolled steel products without surface defects with remarkably high yield rate and productivity.

Abstract: A shaft slide-locking apparatus comprises a stationary shaft housing, a rotary main shaft extending through the shaft housing and rotatably disposed in the shaft housing; a movable cam axially movable on the rotary main shaft; an elastic member disposed between the movable cam and the shaft housing; and a control cam opposing the movable cam and fixed to the rotary main shaft and pushing the movable cam on the side of the shaft housing to press the elastic member towards the shaft housing and the rotary main shaft when the rotary main shaft is rotated.

Abstract: A centrifugal dehydrator comprising a spin basket disposed within an outer casing so as to be driven by a motor, an outer lid for opening and closing an opening of the outer casing facing the spin basket, an inner lid for opening or closing, inside the outer lid, the opening of the outer casing, a movable member capable of being moved to an original position in response to the releasing or opening of the outer lid and movable to a displaced position in response to the closing of the outer lid, rotation-detecting means for, when the power supply to the motor is cut off, permitting the movable member to be kept located at the displaced position by rotation of the spin basket due to inertia, and a lock mechanism for locking the inner lid so as to make it unable to be opened while the rotation-detecting means is keeping the movable member located at the displaced position.
