  • Patent number: 4592703
Abstract: A scroll having flow passages constructed so as to provide improved lubricating properties while eliminating excessive consumption of oil. First flow paths have upper ends communicating with a motor chamber formed between the frame of the compressor and an upper portion of the electric motor which drives the compressor, and lower ends which open above an oil pool formed in the lower part of the housing of the compressor. The first flow paths extend in the axial direction of the compressor between the outer wall of the motor and the frame so that all or part of the gas which is sucked into the motor chamber can flow downwardly. Second axially extending flow paths are provided extending in the axial direction of the compressor between the frame and the shell with the gas passing through the first flow paths being caused to change its direction of flow near the lower end of the frame to flow upwardly.

Abstract: A scroll-type fluid machine, preferably, a scroll-type compressor, having a small size and improved sealing between scroll members. An orbiting scroll is interleaved with a stationary scroll. A crank mechanism is provided for causing the orbiting scroll to undergo an orbiting motion. The crank mechanism includes a crankshaft and an eccentric ring rotated in an eccentric pattern by the crankshaft. Orbital movement of the orbiting scroll is transmitted from the eccentric ring to a shaft of the orbiting scroll. The distance between the center of rotation of the crankshaft and the center of the orbiting scroll shaft is made substantially equal to the radius of orbit when the center of rotation of the crankshaft, the center of the orbiting scroll shaft, and the center of rotation of the eccentric ring are arranged along a straight line in the stated order.

Supplied to the comparators, respectively, are a reference voltage slightly lower than the saturation level of the video signal and a reference voltage slightly higher than the black level of the video signal. The comparators convert the video signal to a binary signal according to the reference voltages. The binary signals are supplied to a video signal processing circuit and are converted to a binary video signal. When the binary video signal is supplied to the display of an electric finder, an image which is over- or/and underexposed is displayed on the display.
