  • Publication number: 20230353939
Abstract: A notification sound generation device includes a speaker, a controller, a resistor, and a correction unit. The speaker is configured to generate a notification sound to surroundings of a vehicle. The controller is configured to output a sound signal that causes the speaker to generate the notification sound. The resistor has a resistance value corresponding to a correction amount for correcting a sound pressure variation of the speaker or a resistance value corresponding to a sound pressure value of the speaker. The correction unit is configured to correct the sound signal based on a physical quantity correlated with the resistance value of the resistor.

  • Patent number: 9783107
Abstract: A vehicle approach alert device that outputs an approach report sound from a sounding body includes: a memory part in which data of the approach report sound is memorized; a signal generator that generates a voltage waveform signal of the approach report sound based on the data of the approach report sound; a calculator that calculates a temperature of the sounding body; and a correct part that corrects the approach report sound based on the temperature of the sounding body. The calculator acquires information about a temperature detected by a temperature sensor located at a position different from the sounding body in the vehicle, and estimates the temperature of the sounding body based on the temperature detected by the temperature sensor.

  • Patent number: 9707618
Abstract: In a forming apparatus, journal dies hold and retain rough journal portions of a preform blank therebetween, and reference crank pin die and movable crank pin dies contact rough crank pin portions thereof. In this state, the journal dies and the movable crank pin dies are moved axially toward the reference crank pin die and the reference crank pin die and the movable crank pin dies are moved perpendicular to an axial direction. With this, rough crank arm portions are axially compressed to reduce their thickness to that of crank arms of a forged crankshaft, and the rough crank pin portions are pressed perpendicular to the axial direction to increase an amount of eccentricity to that of the forged crankshaft crank pins. Consequently, it is possible to form a blank for finish forging having a shape generally in agreement with a shape of the forged crankshaft for a three-cylinder engine.

  • Patent number: 9630239
Abstract: In a forming apparatus, stationary journal dies (10U, 10B) and movable journal dies (11U, 11B) each hold and retain rough journal portions (J?) of a preform blank (4) therebetween, and crank pin dies (12) contacts rough crank pin portions (P?) thereof, and in this state, the movable journal dies (11U, 11B) are moved axially toward the stationary journal dies (10U, 10B) and the crank pin dies (12) are moved in the same axial direction and in an eccentric direction. Rough crank arm portions (A?) are axially compressed to reduce their thickness to that of crank arms of a forged crankshaft, and the rough crank pin portions (P?) are pressed in the eccentric direction to increase eccentricity to that of the crank pins of the forged crankshaft. Consequently, it is possible to form a blank for finish forging having a shape generally in agreement with the shape of the forged crankshaft.

  • Patent number: 5476112
Abstract: An apparatus for cleaning stainless steel or aluminum shutter members in a blanked and generally U-shaped form as they are fed continuously comprises a guide rail for guiding the shutter members so that they are transferred in a specified direction and a plurality of cleaning nozzles through which a cleaning solution is sprayed onto the shutter members. A plurality of vessels for supplying the cleaning solution to the Cleaning nozzles are provided along the guide rail and the cleaning solution overflowing a supply vessel downstream the guide rail is allowed to flow into sequentially upstream supply vessels via flow lines. The cleaning solution is recovered from the most upstream supply vessel and, after the cleaning debris is separated out, the cleaning solution is supplied into the most downstream supply vessel. The apparatus enables efficient cleaning of the shutter members.

  • Patent number: 4468262
Abstract: A method of cooling a rod delivered successively from a hot rolling mill while transferring it. The method involves coiling the rod into rings, forming the rings into a densely packed coil in which the centers of the rings are slightly offse, conveying the densely packed coil through an enclosed space, and progressively cooling the coil while keeping the temperature differences within the cross-section of the coil perpendicular to the length thereof at a minimum. This is done by adjusting the gaseous heat transfer medium within the enclosed space to keep the temperature of the external surface of said cross-section of the coil substantially uniform, during the course of conveying the coil, and vertically dropping the rings of the coil at least once for accelerating the release of heat from the core portions of the densely packed part of the coil along each edge of the coil.

  • Patent number: 4397449
Abstract: An apparatus for cooling a rod delivered successively from a hot rolling mill while transferring it. The apparatus has a laying reel for forming the rod into successive rings, and a conveyor having a coil receiving portion for receiving the rings and forming them into a densely packed coil having a plurality of overlapped rings with the centers of the rings offset in a transferring direction. The conveyor has at least one step for loosening the coil when it is conveyed over the step. An enclosure is provided for enclosing. The sections of the conveyor between which the step is located. The enclosure has stirring devices for keeping the gaseous heat transfer medium within the enclosure at substantially uniform temperatures, which progressively decrease in the direction of movement of the conveyor. A plurality of coolant nozzles are provided at the step for blowing coolant on to the back of the vertically dropping rings.
