  • Publication number: 20200216096
Abstract: A control system of a vehicle determines whether to require a shift from a first travel state in which an operation by a driver is not required to a second travel state in which the operation by the driver is required; makes an operation request to the driver when the shift is required; determines whether the driver has performed an operation in response to the request; and stops the vehicle in a predetermined position when the driver has not performed the operation, wherein in a case in which a lane change operation is required to stop the vehicle in the predetermined position, a speed of movement in a lateral direction at the time of the lane change operation is suppressed more than the speed of movement in the lateral direction at the time of a lane change operation performed in the first travel state.

  • Publication number: 20190310631
Abstract: A vehicle control device includes a recognizer (130) that recognizes a surrounding situation of a subject vehicle, a driving controller (140, 160) that controls at least one of steering and acceleration/deceleration of the subject vehicle on the basis of a recognition result of the recognizer, a continuation determiner (131, 132) that determines whether or not a specific action by a driver of the subject vehicle other than an action required of the driver continues for a predetermined time or more so that the driving controller operates in a state in which the driving controller is operated, an output (133) that outputs information, and an output controller that causes the output to output request information for requesting a specific operation from the driver in a case in which it is determined by the continuation determiner that the specific action continues for the predetermined time or more.

  • Publication number: 20190258250
Abstract: If a vehicle controller makes a gripping request, a grip determination unit changes a determination level (voltage threshold) of a grip sensor that is positioned in a particular area of a disposed area where a steering wheel is disposed, in a manner that it becomes less easy to determine that the steering wheel is gripped and it becomes easier to determine that the steering wheel is not gripped, compared with a determination level (voltage threshold) of the grip sensor that is positioned in an area other than an area in a particular direction.

  • Patent number: 9758045
Abstract: A travelable distance calculation apparatus comprises: an update device 72 for recording a measured remaining fuel amount value, and also sequentially updating the recorded value; a calculation device 73 for calculating a travelable distance based on the remaining capacity of a battery and the recorded value; and a display device 80 for displaying at least the travelable distance. During a period when an engine 13 is stopped, the update device 72 holds, as the recorded value, a value recorded during operation of the engine 13.

  • Patent number: 8537265
Abstract: An imaging apparatus that determines in-focus conditions according to a user's taste by using auto-focus (AF). The imaging apparatus including an AF unit, that allows the user to input an in-focus operation start command, and that allows the user to input a main photographing start command. The imaging apparatus includes a photographing environment storing unit that stores photographing stop and start data, an assumed in-focus condition group generating unit that generates an assumed in-focus condition group based on at least the photographing stop data, an assumption confirming unit that confirms the assumed in-focus condition group, and an in-focus condition group changing unit that, if an in-focus success rate for the assumed in-focus condition group is higher than for the default in-focus condition group, changes the default in-focus condition group to the assumed in-focus condition group.

  • Patent number: 4901488
Abstract: A fire/smoke protection structure for cable channel portion in a floor or wall includes thermal expansion composite molded members each molded into a desired shape and filled in a gap defined between a cable or the like and the channel portion. Each thermal expansion composite molded member is either a member obtained by coating a non-refractory material on the outer surface of a core consisting of a fire retardant resin foaming body compressed to 90% or less of a normal volume, or a member obtained by coating a thermally foaming fire retardant composition on the outer surface of a core consisting of a refractory material and molded into a desired shape. The fire/smoke protection structure can be easily constructed, maintained and reconstructed at a construction site and can be completely and reliably achieved.
