  • Patent number: 9573503
Abstract: A seat pad includes a main portion and a bank portion. When the seat pad is disposed on a seat frame, a reverse face side of the bank portion contacts the seat frame to be supported. When the bank portion is pressed in a seat width direction, the bank portion is flexurally deformed so as to be crushed around a contact portion contacting the seat frame. A contact member is relatively movably provided on a side of the backing material that faces the seat frame, and the seat pad is disposed on the seat frame while the contact member is pressed against the seat frame. When the bank portion is pressed in the seat width direction, the backing material and the seat pad including the bank portion move in a crushing direction relatively to a portion of the contact member that contacts the seat frame.

  • Patent number: 7677629
Abstract: A movement device for a vehicle seat includes lower rails extending in a forward or rearward direction of a vehicle are arranged in a vehicle width direction on a vehicle floor. An upper rail provided at a lower part of a seat slidably movably engages with the lower rails. A recess is formed in the vehicle floor, enabling a carriage to be conveyed between the lower rails along the vehicle width direction. The carriage is separated from the vehicle floor, and guide rails are installed on the carriage. The guide rails are provided in extensions of the lower rails so as to be capable of directly accepting a sliding movement of the upper rail from the lower rails, as the upper rail is removed from the lower rail into the extension thereof.

  • Patent number: 7229117
Abstract: A vehicle seat moving device may include first and second longitudinal moving mechanisms and a lateral moving mechanism. Each of the longitudinal moving mechanisms has a longitudinal slide rail that is attached to a vehicle floor and a longitudinal slider that is associated with a vehicle seat. The lateral moving mechanism has a lateral moving path that is attached to a vehicle floor and a lateral moving element that is movably attached to the lateral moving path. The lateral moving path is disposed between the first and second longitudinal moving mechanisms so that the lateral moving element can move between the first and second longitudinal moving mechanisms. The longitudinal slider is arranged and constructed to slidably engage to the longitudinal slide rail. Also, the longitudinal slider is arranged and constructed to be engaged with and disengaged from the longitudinal slide rail or the vehicle seat.
