  • Publication number: 20020106220
Abstract: A development section uses a liquid toner as a liquid developer and forms a toner image according to an electric field established between the development section and a photosensitive drum. The toner image is transferred from the photosensitive drum onto an intermediate transfer roller 15 according to an electric field established between the same and the photosensitive drum. The toner image is further transferred from the intermediate transfer roller to an intermediate transfer belt 16 and then transferred to a transfer-and-fixation section, which melt-transfers the toner image onto a printing medium. Photosensitive drums 11-14 are provided so as to correspond to a plurality of colors. Toner images formed on the corresponding photosensitive drums are sequentially transferred and superposed on the intermediate transfer roller.

  • Patent number: 5009108
Abstract: A vibrating type transducer wherein an H-shaped vibrator, formed integrally with a silicon substrate and having a hollow chamber provided therearound, is kept self oscillating at its natural resonance frequency together with an amplifier. A physical quantity, such as force, pressure, differential pressure, or the like, which is applied to the silicon substrate is detected by a change in the natural frequency arising at the vibrator corresponding to the physical quantity. The invention also includes a method for manufacturing such transducer using a semiconductor technique, including steps for keeping a vacuum internally in the hollow chamber, imparting an initial tension to the vibrator, and then operating the amplifier to have stable self oscillation.

  • Patent number: 4800759
Abstract: A semiconductor pressure converter wherein a drive voltage is applied to a power supply end of a shearing type gage formed at the strain generating part of a semiconductor diaphragm, and an output voltage appearing at the output end thereof is amplified with an amplifier. The zero point is adjusted by applying a bias voltage to the amplifier which is related to the drive voltage. The span is adjusted without interference to the zero point by changing the feedback voltage of the amplifier. Linear compensation, temperature zero point compensation and temperature span compensation are attained without any mutual interference.

  • Patent number: 4771225
Abstract: A reactive power compensation device has minimum residual reactive power and avoid hunting. The compensation device is connected to an AC power supply network with a variable reactive load. Capacitor banks are connected in parallel with the load, and a pertinent number of banks are switched on and off periodically at a pre-determined time interval. The reactive power in both the load and the capacitor banks are detected and used for controlling the capacitor banks.

  • Patent number: 4524622
Abstract: A method and an apparatus of ultrasonic flaw detection suitable for detecting internal cavern defects of a material, the method involving the mounting on a rotary body of a plural number of skew probes in equidistant positions in the circumferential direction of the rotary body to provide a corresponding number of channels for transmitting and receiving ultrasonic beams in a direction intersecting the axis of rotation of the rotary body at different depths in an inspection zone of a material positioned opposingly to the probes. The rotary body is turned to revolve the probes through 360.degree. about the axis of rotation while transmitting and receiving the ultrasonic pulses. Selected flaw patterns are produced from the peak values of the echoes received at the detection gates of the respective channels in relation with the direction of incidence of the ultrasonic beams.
