Publication number: 20060184140Abstract: A mixture injection port is capable of suppressing the continuous accumulation of medical fluid or blood therein and allowing efficient internal cleaning. A recirculation part is formed at a step between an inner cavity and a narrow tube part. Even if the fluid is accumulated in a clearance area produced in the inner cavity when a luer is inserted into a slit, the fluid can be securely replaced with the fluid newly flowing therein through a septum and the continuous accumulation of the fluid can be suppressed. A more efficient internal cleaning can be realized by installing a fluid accumulation prevention part such as an annular rib between the septum and the inside wall of the inner cavity and burying the clearance area.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 8, 2004Publication date: August 17, 2006Applicant: JMS CO, LTDInventor: Tadashi Okiyama

Patent number: 6111688Abstract: Disclosed herein is an optical amplifier including an optical amplifying medium, a pumping source, an optical filter, and a control unit. Signal light is supplied to the optical amplifying medium. The pumping source supplies pump light to the optical amplifying medium so that the optical amplifying medium provides a gain band including the wavelength of the signal light. The optical filter is optically connected between the optical amplifying medium and the pumping source, and has wavelength selectivity depending upon temperature. The control unit controls the temperature of the optical filter according to a control signal given to the control unit. The wavelength characteristic of gain in the gain band provided by the optical amplifying medium changes according to the power of the signal light and the power and center wavelength of the pump light.Type: GrantFiled: November 23, 1998Date of Patent: August 29, 2000Assignee: Fujitsu LimitedInventors: Taiki Kobayashi, Yoshihito Onoda, Tadashi Okiyama

Patent number: 6031659Abstract: An optical amplifier having an optical multiplexer for WDM(wavelength-division multiplexing). The optical multiplexer has a plurality of input ports and at least one output port. Optical signals having different wavelengths are respectively supplied to the input ports. A plurality of feedback loops are used to respectively control the powers of the optical signals constant. The feedback loops are respectively operatively connected to the input ports of the optical multiplexer. An optical amplifier unit is operatively connected to the output port of the optical multiplexer. The optical amplifier unit has a gain band including the wavelengths of the optical signals. By using such feedback loops, an input dynamic range for each optical signal can be widened.Type: GrantFiled: November 22, 1996Date of Patent: February 29, 2000Assignee: Fujitsu LimitedInventor: Tadashi Okiyama

Patent number: 6014248Abstract: A wavelength division multiplexed (WDM) optical signal amplifier which amplifies optical signals having different wavelengths with minimized deviations in their respective output power levels, while maintaining the total optical output at a constant power level. An optical splitter, disposed at the output of the amplifier, splits off a fraction of the amplified WDM optical output signal for feedback purposes. This WDM optical feedback signal is subjected to a wavelength division demultiplexer, where the optical components contained in the signal are demultiplexed into separate optical feedback signals each having a different wavelength. A plurality of optical power level detectors detect the optical power levels of the individual optical feedback signals.Type: GrantFiled: March 27, 1998Date of Patent: January 11, 2000Assignee: Fujitsu LimitedInventors: Taiki Kobayashi, Tadashi Okiyama, Shinya Inagaki
