Abstract: An image display screen which is composed of a multi-layer film consisting of at least 11 layers and formed by alternately laminating first thermoplastic resin layers having a thickness of 0.05 to 0.03 ?m with second thermoplastic resin layers having a thickness of 0.05 to 0.3 ?m and a parallel ray transmittance of 50% or more, and which has at least a reflection peak with a maximum reflectance 5 to 80% higher than the base line of reflectance and a half-value width of 20 to 200 nm in its reflectance curve for visible light having a wavelength of 380 to 780 nm, and an image display device comprising the same as a screen. This screen has improved transparency while maintaining the definition of an image.

Abstract: A sunshade composed of a transparent substrate, a first base and a second base which are provided on the both surfaces of the substrate, an infrared ray-reflecting layer which is provided on the first base and which reflects infrared rays, and a sun light-reflecting layer which is provided on the second base and which reflects a sun radiant energy with partly transmitting visible rays. The infrared ray-reflecting layer may optionally be coated with a protective layer. At least one of the protective layer, the first base and the second base has a rough surface which may diffusively reflect the light as reflected by the infrared ray-reflecting layer and the sun light-reflecting layer. In place of formation of the rough surface, a light-diffusing agent may be incorporated into the substrate, the both bases or the protective layer.

Abstract: The present invention provides the structure of a multilayered unit for windows, comprising a plurality of planar members, a flexible film disposed between, and spaced from, two of said planar members, and a stretching member capable of developing elasticity for stretching the flexible film taut by imparting thereto a force in a direction angularly displaced to the film surface of the said flexible film extending at least over that region of said planar members which forms a window, and the planar member present on at least one side of the flexible film being transparent or semi-transparent.The present invention also provides a multilayered unit for windows and a multilayered window having the same stretching member as in the above structure.

Abstract: Selectively light transmitting or electrically conductive film having a heat shrinking property and preformed self-supporting flexible laminar structure including said film, which are suitable for a safety glass-type construction use with a good appearance.

Abstract: An improved support comprising (A) a base plate and (B) an adhesive layer formed on the surface of the base plate is provided for making a printing plate from a liquid photosensitive resin. The improvement resides in the inclusion of a tertiary phosphite or tertiary phosphine in the adhesive layer. The improved adhesive layer acts to give reliefs of a good shoulder shape, and this action can be retained over long periods of time.In an alternative embodiment, an activating layer (C) containing a tertiary phosphite or tertiary phosphine is formed on the adhesive layer.

Abstract: A support convenient for preparing a printing plate in situ using a liquid photosensitive resin of an unsaturated polyurethane resin is disclosed. This support consists of a base plate and coated thereon a layer of a composition consisting of a mercapto-containing ester obtained by polycondensing a thiocarboxylic acid or thioalcohol with a polyglycol or polycarboxylic acid or an aromatic tertiary amine and a polymer binder. The support of this invention, which has a broadened base of a sectionally trapezoidal configuration, provides a relief image that is firmly adhered to the support.

Abstract: A photosensitive resin composition consisting essentially of an unsaturated polyester, a cross-linking agent and a photosensitizer, said cross-linking agent consisting of a compound having at least one radical-polymerizable double bond within the molecule and a compound expressed by the following formula ##STR1## wherein n is an integer of at least 1, p, q, and r is 0 or an integer of at least 1 with the proviso that p+q+r equals to 2-6, R.sup.1 is a hydrogen or a methyl group, R.sup.2 is a lower alkyl group optionally substituted with a halogen atom, and R.sup.3 is an alkyl, aryl or acyl group optionally having a substituent.
