  • Publication number: 20160001177
Abstract: When a process of generating a displayed image to be displayed on a terminal (100) is performed only by use of a server (200), a communication speed at which a server-side image (displayed image) is transmitted from the server (200) to the terminal (100) is stored, as a history, into a communication history storage unit (30). When the performance of the process of generating the displayed image is distributed between the terminal (100) and the server (200), the data volume of the server-side image generated at the server (200) is adjusted on the basis of the history of the communication speed stored in the communication history storage unit (30). In this way, the communication time can be prevented from becoming long, and the latency time required at the terminal (100) for synchronizing the terminal-side image with the server-side image and performing an image combination thereof can be possibly shortened.

  • Patent number: 8661368
Abstract: In a main area of a display device, buttons and a map display area where a map is scrolled are provided. A cursor can be moved to an arbitrary position of the main area according to directional input received from an input device. When a decision input is performed with the input device when the cursor points to each button, processing assigned to the button to which the cursor points is performed. When a user inputs a direction and a special input button is not selected, the cursor is moved throughout the main area. When the user inputs a direction while the special input button is selected, the cursor is moved only within the map display area and the map is scrolled as required.

  • Patent number: 8001210
Abstract: A cellular phone does not store information unnecessary for displaying a screen and transmits a screen display request including an identifier of a screen to be displayed next to a server apparatus. In response to the screen display request, the server apparatus reads a display information file including screen elements for configuring the screen from a database and sends the file to the cellular phone. The cellular phone generates a screen using the screen elements included in the display information file and displays the generated screen on a display device. The display information file is prepared as one file for each screen displayed on the cellular phone. The file includes information of all screen elements necessary for the screen and does not include information of any screen elements unnecessary for the screen.

  • Patent number: 7818688
Abstract: In a display device, items of information relating to specified information, which is displayed as the largest item, via a selected relation criterion, are displayed aligned on a selection axis, and items of information relating via other relation criteria are displayed aligned on non-selection axes. An item of information selected as the specified information can be sequentially changed in response to an input from up and down direction keys. The relation criteria for items of information displayed on the selection axis and the non-selection axes can be sequentially changed in response to an input from left and right direction keys. An information selection by the user is confirmed with present specified information by an input from a circle button, and a jump is made to a process according to the present specified information.

  • Patent number: 7613782
Abstract: A communications control program in which communication over an open network is allowed only between users who have previously communicated with one another over a local network. A terminal automatically registers, with a destination list, destinations with which the terminal has communicated over a local network such as ad hoc communications. Destinations of communications over an open network are limited to destinations included in the destination list, and thereby communications with strangers with whom a user of the terminal has not communicated in the local area are restricted.

  • Patent number: 7611410
Abstract: A score verification system for verifying that a score of a player having played an online game is a true score of the player. A player terminal receives a game program from an online game server, and the game is played on the player terminal. Plural players execute the same online game, and compete for high score. The score acquired by the player, together with an operation history of the player, is transmitted to the online game server. In the case where the score may be a high score, the same play is reproduced based upon the operation history received by the online game server, and the fairness of the received score is verified based on the score obtained by the reproduction.

  • Patent number: 7590948
Abstract: In a display device, information related to specified information, which is displayed large in a center portion of a display, by a selected relation criterion is displayed aligned on a selection axis, while information related by other relation criteria is displayed aligned on non-selection axes. Information selected as the specified information can be sequentially changed in accordance with an input from an up or down direction key, and a relation criterion of information displayed on the selection axis and the non-selection axes can be sequentially changed in accordance with an input from a left or right direction key. Also, in accordance with an input from an X button, an immediately preceding input from a direction key is cancelled, and a display condition returns to an immediately preceding history. In accordance with an input from a ? button, a display condition previously bookmarked by an input from a ? button is displayed.
