  • Publication number: 20040012822
Abstract: A facsimile machine rewritably stores a table for storing basic data for calculating a communication charge needed at the time of sending image data in a non-volatile memory constituting a part of a ROM. A control unit of the facsimile machine calculates a communication charge at the time of sending a facsimile by referring to the table, and displays the communication charge on a display unit. Further, the control unit obtains the latest basic data through a predetermined network, and updates the basic data in the table stored in the non-volatile memory to the obtained latest basic data.
