  • Publication number: 20240075867
Abstract: Provided is a drive assist apparatus visually notifying a driver of information regarding a gradient of a road. A drive assist apparatus includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry is to acquire gradient information of a road in which gradient illusion is estimated to occur in a driver of a vehicle. The processing circuitry is to perform control on an irradiation apparatus provided to the vehicle so that the irradiation apparatus projects a gradient recognition pattern on a target object or on a projection surface provided in front of a driver seat of the vehicle to display the gradient recognition pattern in overlapped fashion with the target object. The target object is located in front of the vehicle and extends along the road. The gradient recognition pattern includes at least one graphic based on the gradient information of the road and disposed along the extension direction of the target object.

  • Patent number: 4819893
Abstract: A bait casting reel has a clutch mechanism in one side of the reel body. A frame member is securedly fixed across the side reel plates at the back of the reel and includes a slideway in which is slideably mounted a thumb-operated push button. The thumb button is mechanically connected to the clutch mechanism so that, when depressed, the thumb button disengages the clutch for free spool operation. The frame in which the thumb button is mounted provides strength and rigidity to the reel, and the thumb button enables convenient thumb operation while holding a fishing rod.

  • Patent number: 4598608
Abstract: A gear crank for a bicycle, which comprises a plurality of chain gears and a pair of crank arms, in which some teeth of a larger diameter chain gear among the chain gears are positioned within a range of its center angles of 30.degree. and 60.degree., forward and rearward respectively in the driving revolution direction of each crank arm at both circumferential sides of a portion at the larger diameter chain gear. The portion corresponding to each crank arm, and the teeth are formed of a material superior to the material of the chain gear body in rigidity, the rigid teeth being formed for easily engaging with a driving chain.

  • Patent number: 4384865
Abstract: A multi-stage sprocket for a bicycle is disclosed which omits at least one of several teeth provided at the outer periphery of the sprocket body. A toothed member having a number of teeth corresponding to the number of omitted teeth is formed of material superior to the material of the sprocket body in wear-resistance and is mounted to the tooth-omitted portion at the sprocket body.

  • Patent number: 4268259
Abstract: Multi-speed sprockets are assembled with at least one larger diameter sprocket and at least one smaller diameter sprocket, in which the center of a space between certain adjacent teeth of the larger diameter sprocket is positioned on a tangent line drawn from the center of a space between certain adjacent teeth at the smaller diameter sprocket, and the distance between both centers is made substantially equal to an integer multiple of the pitch of a driving chain.

  • Patent number: 4259880
Abstract: A multi-stage gear crank for a bicycle has chain detaching means facilitating disengagement of a driving chain from the teeth of sprockets, the detaching means being provided at teeth positioned in the vicinity of the upper and lower dead points of a larger diameter sprocket corresponding to the crank arms respectively, whereby the chain is adapted to be switched to a smaller diameter sprocket from the larger diameter sprocket at the upper dead point thereof.
