The IC card includes a verification data fetching unit that fetches verification data from a mobile communication terminal of a user; a verification process unit that verifies whether fetched verification data is authentic thereby verifying whether the user is an authorized user of the IC card; and a controller that permits exchange of the card identification data between the IC card and the transaction terminal upon the verification process unit confirming that the user is an authorized user thereby permitting execution of a transaction process at the transaction terminal.
