  • Patent number: 9237559
Abstract: In order to improve the use efficiency of radio resources upon executing a CA function, a base station (10A) forming a communication control system simultaneously transmits and receives a main carrier (100) and a plurality of sub-carriers (101 and 102) to wirelessly communicate with a mobile station (20). Prior to this, the base station (10A) notifies, to the mobile station (20) through the main carrier (100), first control information (201) for communication using the first sub-carrier (101), and first difference information (401) on a difference between the first control information (201) and second control information (202) for communication using another sub-carrier (102). The mobile station (20) reproduces the second control information (202) by using the first control information (201) and the first difference information (401).

  • Patent number: 8818378
Abstract: Provided is a base station that includes a cell that defines an area in which the base station can communicate with a mobile terminal by wireless. The cell is arranged adjacently to the other cell of another base station. The base station includes communication unit 70 that communicates with the other base station, and system information processing unit 40 that simultaneously broadcasts pieces of system information to the mobile terminal currently engaged in communication in the cell. Upon receiving, from the mobile terminal currently engaged in communication, information indicating that the mobile terminal is located in an adjacent area of the cell adjacent to the other cell, system information processing unit 40 acquires, from the other base station via communication unit 70, other system information currently broadcast in the other cell, and transmits the acquired other system information to the mobile terminal currently engaged in communication.

  • Patent number: 8577372
Abstract: Base stations notify the mobile terminal of area information that represents communication areas; a mobile terminal decides a handover destination base station based on position information of the mobile terminal and the area information concerning which the base stations notify the mobile terminal and transmits a handover request to the base station; the base stations request a base station with which the mobile terminal is communicating for communication information of the mobile terminal if the base stations receive the handover request that the mobile terminal transmits; the base stations notify a base station of the communication information of the mobile terminal if the base stations are requested for the communication information of the mobile terminal; and the base stations perform a handover process for the mobile terminal based on the communication information if the base stations acquire the communication information concerning which the base station notifies the base stations of the communication

  • Patent number: 8422422
Abstract: A transmission processing apparatus selects, based on flow control information, user packets to be multiplexed, stores the user packets in the payload of a multiplexed packet based on the position order of multiplex flags corresponding to destination users, stores a multiplex flag group in which only the multiplex flags of the user packets are set in the header of the multiplexed packet, and transmits the multiplexed packet. A reception processing apparatus extracts the multiplex flag group from the header of the received multiplexed packet, transmits flow control information according to the storage state of a reception buffer to the transmission processing apparatus, demultiplexes the user packets from the payload of the multiplexed packet, extracts destination user information corresponding to the set multiplex flags from user management information, and outputs the user packets to the destination users corresponding to the user management information.

  • Publication number: 20120034920
Abstract: Handover failure caused when notification information is updated after a movement source base station transmitted parameter information necessary for a handover is prevented. A time stamp is given to a parameter necessary for a mobile communication terminal to move to another cell and the parameter is transmitted to a movement destination base station from a movement source base station. The movement destination base station transmits difference information with the movement source base station of the parameter to the mobile communication terminal together with the time stamp as notification information. The mobile communication terminal compares the time stamp of the difference information acquired from the movement destination base station and the time stamp of notification information acquired from the movement source base station, and selects whether or not to perform a handover when the time stamps do not match.
