  • Patent number: 11964626
Abstract: Provided are a seat belt retractor and a seat belt device capable of suppressing an increase in frictional resistance when a pretensioner is steadily driven and increasing the resistance to be applied to a webbing when energy is absorbed. A seat belt retractor includes a guide member facing at least a part of an outer circumferential surface of a locking base and disposed along an opening portion. The guide member is configured not to come into contact with the locking base until a pretensioner is shifted to a steady driving state, is configured to come into contact with the locking base when the pretensioner is steadily driven, and is configured to allow contact between lock teeth and the locking base when subjected to a predetermined load after the pretensioner is shifted to the steady driving state.

  • Publication number: 20200298793
Abstract: Provided are a pretensioner, a retractor, and a seat belt device which can achieve both securing of the strength of a power transmission member in an initial driving stage and reduction of the sliding resistance against the power transmission member in a steady driving stage. The retractor 1 includes a spool 2 for winding up webbing for restraining an occupant and a pretensioner 3 for winding up the webbing in an emergency to remove slack. The pretensioner 3 includes a ring gear 31 connected to the spool 2 and a power transmission device 32 for transmitting power to the ring gear 31 in an emergency. The power transmission device 32 includes a rod-shaped power transmission member 32a which transmits power to the ring gear 31 while being plastically deformed. A tip end of the power transmission member 32a has an enlarged portion 32b formed thicker than other portions of the power transmission member 32a. The enlarged portion 32b is made of the same material as the power transmission member 32a.

  • Patent number: 9290152
Abstract: [Object] Quietness is to be more effectively improved, without compromising stability in power transmission. [Solution] An annular internal gear member 24 is formed of a noise suppressing material having lower strength than a metal. A deformation restricting portion 22d of an annular flange shape is formed along an outer circumferential edge of a carrier 22. Accordingly, when a planetary gear mechanism is operating the internal gear member 24 is partially deformed so as to protrude radially outward of the annular shape. At this point, the protruding deformed portion of the internal gear member 24 abuts against an inner circumferential surface of the deformation restricting portion 22d. Therefore, deformation of the internal gear member 24 is effectively restricted.
