  • Publication number: 20080064215
Abstract: In one aspect, a method of manufacturing a semiconductor package includes providing a semiconductor substrate which includes a plurality of semiconductor chips and a scribe lane defined between the semiconductor chips, forming a trench within the scribe lane, filling the trench with a photolytic polymer, grinding a back side of the semiconductor substrate including the photolytic polymer within the trench, and radiating light onto a front surface of the semiconductor substrate to dissolve the photolytic polymer.

  • Publication number: 20080029754
Abstract: A phase changeable memory device is manufactured by forming at least one insulating layer on a substrate. A preliminary first electrode is formed on the insulating layer. The preliminary first electrode is partially etched to form a first electrode electrically connected to the substrate. After the preliminary first electrode is formed, both sidewalls of the preliminary first electrode are partially etched isotropically to form a first electrode having a uniform width and height. A phase changeable material layer pattern and a second electrode are subsequently formed on the first electrode. Related devices also are described.

  • Publication number: 20070079621
Abstract: A variable capacity air conditioner compressor is controlled by setting a car target indoor temperature; sensing car indoor and outdoor temperatures and solar radiation with sensors at predetermined car positions; calculating a vent target discharge temperature using the target temperature, sensed car temperatures and solar radiation; calculating a target evaporator temperature and blower voltage based on target discharge temperature; calculating a control duty based on the target evaporator temperature; calculating target evaporator temperature and blower voltage change rates; determining whether or not the compressor comes under a sudden variable condition based on the control duty, and target evaporator temperature and blower voltage change rates; and setting a control duty change rate maximum value to an accelerative slew rate greater than and equal to a basic slew rate when sudden and not sudden variable conditions are respectively determined.

  • Patent number: 7136353
Abstract: Improved quality of service management for multiple connections between a sender and a receiver may be achieved by allocating a host-level transmission rate among the multiple connections based on a ratio of a weight associated with each connection and a sum of the weights associated the connections. Data packets associated with the connections may then be selectively transmitted to the receiver such that data packets having a highest difference between the allocated transmission rate and an actual transmission rate are transmitted first. The data packets transmitted to the sender may also be clocked using a transmission timer having period corresponding to the host-level transmission rate.

  • Patent number: 7099273
Abstract: Improved data transport and management within a network communication system may be achieved by utilizing a transmit timer incorporated within the sender device and exploiting host-level statistics for a plurality of connections between a sender and receiver. The period of the transmit timer may be periodically adjusted based on a ratio of the smoothed round-trip time and the smoothed congestion window, thereby reducing or eliminating bursty data transmission commonly associated with conventional TCP architectures. For applications having a plurality of connections between a sender and a receiver that share a common channel, such as web applications, the congestion window and smoothed round trip time estimates for all active connections may be used to initialize new connections and allocate bandwidth among existing connections.

  • Publication number: 20060086117
Abstract: A vehicle air conditioner is controlled to a target control value that controls a swash-plate control value of a swash-plate variable capacity compressor. The variable control is based on temperature deviation between target evaporator temperature and actual evaporator temperature, to control compressor discharge capacity. A target evaporator temperature is set. Deviation between the target evaporator temperature and actual evaporator temperature is calculated. Control coefficients are variably set according to the magnitude of the temperature deviation. A target control value of a pressure control valve of the swash-plate variable capacity compressor is calculated using the control coefficients. The pressure control valve is controlled by the target control value.

As a result, the destructive interference that may occur as different connections compete with one another for access to the same bandwidth limited channel may be reduced or eliminated.
