  • Publication number: 20240043871
Abstract: The present invention relates to a novel adenoviral vector not including a replication competent adenovirus. A recombinant E1/E3/E4-deleted adenoviral vector, of the present invention, in which an antigenic protein and an E4orf6 gene are inserted in an E1 gene-deleted region, has adenovirus productivity, degree of antigen expression, neutralizing antibody production amount, and T cell induction ability that are similar to those of a control group, and thus can be effectively used as a carrier for various vaccines for diseases or anti-cancer vaccines.

  • Publication number: 20230293670
Abstract: The present invention relates to a novel coronavirus recombinant spike protein, a polynucleotide encoding the same, a vector comprising the polynucleotide, and a vaccine for preventing or treating coronavirus infection, comprising the vector. The coronavirus recombinant spike protein of the present invention is stable and thereby not easily decomposed in cells, and effectively activates immune cells thereby resulting in a high antibody production amount and T cell reactivity. It was confirmed that the vector of the present invention exhibits a high antigen expression level and thereby has a high antibody production amount and T cell reactivity, has a long antibody production period and expression period, and does not show liver toxicity. Accordingly, the vector of the present invention can be helpfully used as a vaccine for preventing or treating coronavirus infection.

  • Patent number: 9364468
Abstract: The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating tuberculosis, comprising: (a) a pharmaceutically effective amount of a compound represented by the following chemical formula 1; and (b) a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. Chemical formula 1 The compound contained as an active ingredient of the present invention inhibits the expression and activity of CO-DH in tubercle bacillus so as to effectively block the detoxification of carbon monoxide, which is an important survival factor of tubercle bacillus, and is safe for the human body since the compound targets CO-DH which does not exist in the human body. In addition, the compound creates a synergistic effect when combined with a conventional tuberculostatic drug, and thus can be more effective for treating tuberculosis.
