The method includes recognizing a face of a person in a captured portrait, setting virtual illumination in the captured portrait, and displaying a virtual illumination effect according to the set virtual illumination. Therefore, the user can apply desired illumination effect to the captured image to generate an effect that the image was captured under an external light source.
