Abstract: A method for synthesizing carbon nanotubes using a nanoparticle catalyst prepared by vaporizing a catalyst raw material using plasma and then condensing the vaporized catalyst raw material is disclosed. The production method of the present disclosure can make the synthesized carbon nanotubes have high crystallinity; and facilitate their mass synthesis.

Abstract: An image sensor that provides a uniform sensitivity for pixels having color filters of the same color to increase the image quality is provided. The image sensor includes a substrate, a first grid pattern disposed on the substrate and including a first side wall and a second side wall opposite to the first side wall, a first pixel including a first photoelectric conversion element and a first color filter, and a second pixel including a second photoelectric conversion element and a second color filter. The first color filter contacts the first side wall and the second color filter contacts the second side wall. The first color filter and the second color filter are color filters of same color, and a first thickness of the first color filter is greater than a second thickness of the second color filter.

Abstract: An image signal processor may include a data receiver configured to receive image data including depth values corresponding to pixels included in an image obtained from a distance measurement sensor. The image signal processor may also include a motion detector configured to detect motion in the image using either a first motion detection method which uses pixels or a second motion detection method which uses preset kernels, based on amplitude of the light source and generate a detection result indicating whether the motion is included in the target image. A noise remover removes noise from the target image using either a first noise removal method which uses previous image data corresponding to previous images or a second noise removal method which uses the image data corresponding to the target image based on the detection result.

In typical image encoding/decoding methods, a decoder-side motion information derivation method may be limitedly used. Therefore, the improvement of encoding efficiency attributable to the decoder-side motion information derivation method may also be limited. In embodiments, a motion information search method used in inter-prediction is disclosed. With the use of various motion search methods, encoding efficiency in inter-prediction may be improved.

The composite fibers are manufactured by braiding a MXene-PAN fiber heat-treated with a polymer fiber. The method includes preparing a first dispersion including an MXene compound and a first solvent, preparing a second dispersion including polyacrylonitrile (PAN) and a second solvent, obtaining an admixture including the first dispersion and the second dispersion, obtaining a spun fiber by performing wet-spinning of the admixture, obtaining an MXene-PAN fiber by performing heat treatment of the spun fiber, and obtaining the MXene composite fiber by braiding the MXene-PAN fibers with a polymer fiber.
