    Abstract: An apparatus for receiving data in a communication system includes a parser configured to receive multimedia data and analyze the multimedia data into a plurality of tokens; a plurality of decoding units configured to receive input tokens corresponding to them among the plurality of tokens and decode the multimedia data; and a scheduler configured to schedule the plurality of tokens and transmit the respective input tokens to the plurality of decoding units at precise times, wherein the plurality of decoding units decode the multimedia data by the input tokens transmitted from the scheduler and provide a multimedia service.
