  • Publication number: 20250149538
Abstract: A lithium-ion battery includes an electrode with microscale channels formed in the electrode material and a nanoscale conformal coating over the electrode material. The channels promote Li-ion transport to the interior of the electrode during charging, and the coating acts as an artificial solid electrolyte interphase (SEI) in place of the SEI that is typically formed during initial charge cycles of a Li-ion battery. The coating can be selected to have a lower impedance than a naturally formed SEI and can be formed in a more controlled manner prior to cell assembly. Cold-charging performance of the resulting battery is enhanced more than would be expected by the individual contributions of the channels and the coating.

  • Patent number: 10224516
Abstract: The present invention relates to method for depositing an organic material for an organic light emitting device and an organic light emitting device manufactured thereby. The method includes the steps of: applying a premix in which a host and a dopant are premixed, to a first donor substrate; heating the premix by applying an electric field to the first donor substrate; depositing the host and the dopant separated into different layers on a second donor substrate, with the host or the dopant having a relatively low vaporization temperature first deposited from the premix onto the second donor substrate and then the dopant or the host having a relatively high vaporization temperature deposited later onto the second donor substrate; heating the host and the dopant by applying an electric field to the second donor substrate; and depositing the host and the dopant that are uniformly mixed on a target substrate.

  • Publication number: 20100183153
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method of establishing the routing path of a sensor network and a sensor node for implementing the method. Each of a plurality of sensors belonging to a sensor network is assigned a key index and a key corresponding to the key index. The sensor node acquires information about key indices possessed by sensor nodes existing on a candidate routing path. The sensor node selects a final routing path from among a plurality of candidate routing paths using the information about the key indices. Accordingly, the present invention can implement a sensor network having improved security.
