Abstract: A control box for charging includes a second connector disposed at a first end of the control box and configured to be coupled to a first connector provided at a first end of a supply cable configured to be connected to an external power source. The control box includes a retainer configured to prevent separation of the first connector when the first connector and the second connector are completely coupled. A top of the control box is open at a position corresponding to the second connector and the retainer is inserted through the open top and moved up and down.

Abstract: A charging control box detachable charging cable system includes a vehicle cable having a vehicle terminal on one end for connection to a first connection terminal of a charging control box or an external power source, and an outlet on the other end for connection to a charging inlet of a vehicle. The system also includes a portable cable having one end for connection to the external power source, and a portable terminal provided on the other end for connection to a second connection terminal of the charging control box. The vehicle terminal has a first corresponding key configured to be engaged and coupled with the first key of the first connection terminal, and the portable terminal has a second corresponding key configured to be engaged and coupled with the second key of the second connection terminal.

The front seal and the front holder are disposed inside the first mounting hole sequentially. An inner housing with a terminal is mounted to a rear side of the main housing and has terminal insertion holes. A subcover is disposed at a rear side of the inner housing. Each terminal has a connector portion disposed inside a terminal-connecting hole of the front holder, and a wire-welding portion is disposed inside a terminal insertion hole of the inner housing. Watertight and vibration-absorbing materials are attached to a lower side of an upper cover and an upper side of a lower cover of the subcover to protect the wire-welding portions of the terminals.
