  • Patent number: 11915853
Abstract: A coil component is provided. The coil component includes a body having fifth and sixth surfaces opposing each other, first and second surfaces respectively connecting the fifth and sixth surfaces of the body and opposing each other, and third and fourth surfaces respectively connecting the first and second surfaces of the body and opposing each other in one direction, a recess disposed in an edge between one of the first and second surfaces of the body and the sixth surface of the body, a coil portion disposed inside the body and exposed through the recess, and an external electrode including a connection portion disposed in the recess and connected to the coil portion, and a pad portion disposed on one surface of the body. A length of the pad portion in the one direction is greater than a length of the connection portion in the one direction.

  • Patent number: 11623971
Abstract: Disclosed is preparation of a freestanding ion gel having high stability and high ionic conductivity based on surface-activity ionic liquids. Further, disclosed is a solid electrolyte using the ion gel. A method for preparing the freestanding ion gel include mixing a surface-activity ionic liquid having an alkyl group having 8 or greater carbon atoms, a crosslinking agent, water and oil with each other to form a bicontinuous microemulsion mixture; ii) adding an initiator to the mixture; and iii) curing the mixture using ultraviolet (UV) or thermal energy to form a freestanding ion gel.

  • Publication number: 20230102003
Abstract: Proposed are a non-aqueous freestanding ion conductive gel for application to an electrolyte of a lithium secondary battery and a preparation method thereof. The non-aqueous freestanding ion conductive gel including: a matrix including a hydrophobic polymer famed through polymerization of monomers having an unsaturated double-bond; a domain dispersed in the matrix and including a hydrophilic ionic liquid; and a surface active layer including an ionic liquid having surface activity, in which a portion of a hydrophobic segment in a chain of the ionic liquid having surface activity is positioned in the matrix, and a portion of a hydrophilic segment in the chain is positioned in the domain. The gel has high ionic conductivity, high lithium ion transference number, and excellent mechanical strength.
