Abstract: A multiplexer for controlling a fluid in a microchannel by controlling pneumatic pressure in the microchannel in a microfluidics chip includes: a first pneumatic channel; and a second pneumatic channel forming a cross point which is in communication with the first pneumatic channel, wherein the cross point is in communication with the microchannel of the microfluidics chip, and predetermined pneumatic pressure is provided to the microchannel by using a combination of providing of the pneumatic pressure to the first and second pneumatic channels, channel closing, or channel opening.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to system and process for corrosion monitoring. An embodiment of a system includes a conductor, an electrical connector, a sensor system, a transmitter, a network, and a computer having a database. The conductor is one or more current carrying conductors inline with and having a connector at each end such that there is electrical communication from connector to connector. The sensor system is configured for attachment to the conductor, and is operable to measure one or more of resistance, temperature, current flow, surrounding radio frequency and/or magnetic flux. The transmitter coupled the sensor system, operable to transmit data from the sensor system over a network to a processor for further processing. The computer includes a database for storage of sensor system in the form of instantaneous values, average values, a series of values, vectors representing values, or waveforms.

Abstract: There is provided a method for selecting an access point (AP), the method performed by a user equipment. The method may comprise: receiving a prioritized list with respect to APs, the prioritized list includes at least one of roaming consortium information, a network address identifier (NAI), a public land mobile network (PLMN) identifier; scanning at least one or more APs in the vicinity thereby generating an available list which includes at least one or more service set identifiers (SSIDs) and roaming consortium information; acquiring at least one or more NAIs from the roaming consortium information in the available list using pre-stored mapping information; comparing the acquired NAI with the NAI in the prioritized list to select a proper AP.

Abstract: A method for performing an inter-user equipment (UE) transfer (IUT) of a collaborative session. The method according to one embodiment is performed by a UE and includes transmitting a subscription message to a network element for requesting notification of information regarding at least one or more other UEs; receiving a subscription acceptance message in response to the subscription message; and receiving a notification message. The notification message includes the information regarding the at least one or more other UEs and a controller UE capability of controlling the collaborative session. The method according to the embodiment further includes performing a process of transferring control with respect to the collaborative session established with a remote party to a specific UE, which is checked as capable of being a controller UE based on the received information, without transferring the collaborative session to the specific UE.

Abstract: A method for offloading traffic in a wireless communication system, receiving, by a user equipment (UE), a deactivate bearer request indicating reactivation is required for a packet data network (PDN) connection, wherein the deactivate bearer request is triggered by a Mobility Management Entity (MME) which has obtained subscription data for the UE from a Home Subscriber Server (HSS) and has received local gateway (L-GW) information indicating a transport layer address of a L-GW being capable of offloading the traffic, wherein the subscription data for the UE is defined based on an Access Point Name (APN), wherein the subscription data for the UE includes a first information element indicating whether a corresponding traffic associated with the APN is allowed for Selected IP Traffic Offload (SIPTO) and a second information element indicating whether the corresponding traffic associated with the APN is allowed for Selected IP Traffic Offload via Local Network (SIPTO@LN).

Abstract: A method for providing connection type information in a Mobile Management Entity (MME), and a method for controlling radio resources in a Home (e)NodeB system are discussed. The method for providing connection type information according to an embodiment includes receiving an Attach Request message from a Home (e)NodeB. The Attach Request message includes a Closed Subscriber Group (CSG) ID and an access mode of the Home (e)NodeB, when the Home (e)NodeB is a hybrid cell. The Attach Request message includes a CSG ID but does not include an access mode of the Home (e)NodeB, when the Home (e)NodeB is not a hybrid cell. The method for providing connection type information further includes determining whether the UE is a CSG member or a non CSG member, if the Home (e)NodeB is a hybrid cell; and transmitting a connection accept message when the Home (e)NodeB is the hybrid cell.

Abstract: For traffic offload via a local network, a MME may obtain from a HSS, subscription data including SIPTO related permissions defined on APN basis that indicate SIPTO prohibited, indicate SIPTO allowed excluding SIPTO via Local Network (SIPTO@LN), and/or indicate SIPTO allowed including SIPTO@LN. Then, the MME may obtain information about one or more local Gateways (GWs) capable of offloading selected traffic, such information indicating which of the one or more local GWs provides access to which Packet Data Networks (PDNs), with each PDN being identified by its associated APN. Finally, the MME may process PDN connections and/or PDN disconnections in order to support offloading of the selected traffic. The counterpart UE includes the appropriate means of hardware and/or software that is configured to support and perform SIPTO@LN.

The method according to one embodiment includes generating, by the MME, a request message including an indication of whether the UE is a closed subscriber group (CSG) member; and transmitting, by the MME, the request message to a cell. The request message is one of a UE context change request message and a handover request message. The UE context change request message is an S1 AP UE Context Modification Request message. The UE context change request message is transmitted when the UE is connected to the cell, the cell is operating in a hybrid access mode, and when the MME detects that a CSG membership of the UE to the cell has expired.

The method may comprise: determining, by User Equipment (UE), whether a timer is running, wherein the UE has accessed multiple Radio Access Technologies (RATs); if the timer is not running, performing, by the UE, a handover of a data traffic, which has been routed onto a Wireless LAN (WLAN), to an original RAT; and if the timer is running, not performing, by the UE, the handover of the data traffic, which has been routed onto the WLAN, to the original RAT. The data traffic may be been routed onto the WLAN as a result of Circuit Switched Fall-Back (CSFB) or 3GPP RAT mobility.

Abstract: There is provided a method for determining a handover. The method may comprise: determining, by User Equipment (UE), whether a timer is running, wherein the UE has accessed multiple Radio Access Technologies (RATs); if the timer is not running, performing, by the UE, a handover of a data traffic, which has been routed onto a Wireless LAN (WLAN), to an original RAT; and if the timer is running, not performing, by the UE, the handover of the data traffic, which has been routed onto the WLAN, to the original RAT.
