  • Publication number: 20230182618
Abstract: Provided are a battery management system and a battery management method. The battery management system includes a sensing unit to generate a sensing signal indicating a voltage and a current of a battery, a memory unit to store a reference charging map for constant-current charging using first to mth reference C-rates, and a control unit to determine a start value indicating a charge factor at a time point at which a charge command is received based on the sensing signal. The control unit generates first to mth reference charge functions corresponding to the first to mth reference C-rates in a one-to-one relationship from the reference charging map. When a charge cycle starts, the control unit controls a charge current supplied to the battery using the first to mth reference C-rates in a sequential order based on the sensing signal, the start value and the first to mth reference charge functions.

  • Patent number: 8542200
Abstract: An image display device has touch sensing sensor components integrally distributed amongst pixel components of the device. In one embodiment, the distribution is one sensor component per one pixel component. In one embodiment, the pixel component forms a pixel portion of an image by selectively reflecting light and the sensor component is composed of a material that reflects light. More specifically, in one embodiment the light reflecting pixel component is an electrophoretic unit and the sensor component includes a layer of titanium having a color filter layer disposed below it and thus protectively covering it. Reflection of light from the light reflecting sensor layer is reduced by providing an anti-reflection layer above it. The sensor component changes resistance in response to change of local temperature or of an amount of infrared radiation impinging on it. Its resistance is measured by way of two wires connected thereto and extending through contact holes provided in the color filter layer.

  • Publication number: 20070245422
Abstract: There are provided a phishing-prevention method capable of preventing phishing-related accidents from which an Internet user suffers and storage medium storing a computer program source for executing the method. When a user attempts an access to a specific website through an e-mail and a web browser or inputs his/her own personal information directly in e-mail or the like to transmit the related information to outside, the website to be accessed or an Internet address of a specific server is analyzed in order to warn the user in advance so that the user can select whether to actually access thereto, prior to accessing to the website, if it is in danger. When the user attempts an access to a website similar to a famous or known website address, the method of the present invention warns the user of a possibility that will be a phishing website so that the user can select whether to actually access thereto.
