    Abstract: An energy storage system for a vehicle is provided. A first plate has a first surface coupled to be in surface-contact with an exposed surface of an energy storage cell positioned at an outermost side among the plurality of energy storage cells. An elastic member has a first side coupled to a second surface of the first plate and a second side fixedly coupled to the energy storage cell mounting part. The elastic member provides repulsive force of a certain magnitude or greater in a direction of the stacked energy storage cells through the first plate.
