Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method of manufacturing heating elements for vehicle interior materials, which includes forming a base part having the same shape as a curved surface of a subject, forming an electrode part on an upper surface of the base part, and stacking a heating part on upper surfaces of the base part and electrode part. Accordingly, the heating element is manufactured in advance to have the same shape as the curved surface of the subject and then adhered to the subject so that the heating element is overlapped on and pressed against the subject without deformation. Thus, it is possible to make overall temperature distribution uniform and improve product quality.

The home appliance includes a main controller for generating a first data signal including status information and a second data signal including operating information, a first sound output device for outputting a first sound signal according to the first data signal including status information to be transmitted through a communication network, and a second sound output device for outputting a second sound signal according to the second data signal including operating information to be perceived by a user. Thus, the sound signal regarding the status information and the sound signal regarding the operating information can be output through the different sound output devices, i.e., the first and second sound output devices.

Abstract: A control method and system for a belt-driven clothes dryer are disclosed. The control system includes a drum containing a load of wet clothes to be dried, a heater heating air flowing into the drum, a motor coupled to the drum by a power transmission system for rotating the drum, and a power supply supplying power to the motor and the heater during a dry operation of the dryer. The control system further includes a moisture sensor outputting a sensor signal during the dry operation, or a photo coupler outputting voltage pulses when the motor is in operation during the dry operation. Then, a microprocessor included in the control system detects a breakage of the power transmission system upon analyzing the sensor signal of the moisture sensor or the voltage pulses generated by the photo coupler. If the microprocessor detects such breakage, it interrupts the dry operation of the clothes dryer.
