Abstract: A digital cable broadcast receiver and a method for automatically processing caption data of various standards and types, is disclosed. The digital broadcast receiver includes: a demultiplexer for dividing a received broadcast stream into video data, audio data, supplementary information; a controller for determining whether caption data included in the video data is digital caption data or analog caption data on the basis of caption information included in the supplementary information, and outputting a control signal according to a result of the determining; a digital caption decoder for extracting and decoding digital caption data from the video data according to the control signal; and an analog caption decoder for extracting and decoding analog caption data from the video data according to the control signal.

Abstract: Provided is an apparatus and method for coding and decoding multi-object audio signals with various channels and providing backward compatibility with a conventional spatial audio coding (SAC) bitstream. The apparatus includes: an audio object coding unit for coding audio-object signals inputted to the coding apparatus based on a spatial cue and creating rendering information for the coded audio-object signals, where the rendering information provides a coding apparatus including spatial cue information for audio-object signals; channel information of the audio-object signals; and identification information of the audio-object signals, and used in coding and decoding of the audio signals.

One example embodiment method may include performing an angle spectrum analysis by re-classifying fault points distributed on a plane, the plane including a first component axis and a second component axis, and the re-classifying fault points including calculating an angle for each of the fault points with reference to any one of the first component axis and the second component axis of the plane, and forming a reference fault pattern for defining a fault pattern of the re-classified fault points.

Abstract: The present invention is broadly directed towards a receiving container for an LCD apparatus for securing a lamp and lamp wiring connected to a lamp. The receiving container has features for substantially preventing the lamp wiring from being disconnected from the lamp. For example, a first through-hole for receiving the lamp wiring, a first trench, securing members, and securing projections are utilized to substantially prevent lamp wiring from being disconnected from a lamp. Additionally, the LCD apparatus is easily handled, dissipates heat effectively, and has a light weight.

This invention can enhance functions of the object-based audio service and make it easy to access to each audio object of an audio content file.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method for fractional frequency reuse with ordering scheme (FFRO) to increase capacity of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems while reducing interference due to the use of a common sub-channel set. Each cell includes a common sub-channel set assigned in common to all cells provided in a cluster and a dedicated sub-channel set assigned differently to all of the cells. The method includes classifying the cells into at least one type according to cluster sizes, and allocating the dedicated sub-channel set by frequency partitioning scheme based on the cell type.
